VANCOUVER, Canada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- GeoComply Ltd, the specialist in the development and implementation of geolocation solutions for the regulated iGaming and broadcasting industries, has announced the appointment of Lindsay Kininmonth as its new Operations Manager for North America.
Kininmonth moves from TST, a Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) company, and will take responsibility for working with regulators, vendors and operators in the US online gaming market.
Commenting on her new role, Kininmonth enthused, “I am thrilled to take this opportunity with GeoComply at this time, just as the US IntraState iGaming market is opening up.”
Anna Sainsbury, General Manager of GeoComply, added, “We are very happy to have Lindsay on board. She really understands the needs of private and public bodies when it comes to compliance in the iGaming industry and her experience will be a great benefit when it comes to supporting licensed operators and ensuring they can geolocate their players with certainty.”
Over the last decade, online gambling has risen in parallel with the technology and banking industry’s ability to secure the identity of the customer as they transact. However, with the rise of Web 2.0 technologies, the opportunity now exists to open previously closed markets by adding not just the ‘who’ of iGaming, but also the ‘where’.
GeoComply’s Matrix solution is the next generation geolocation programme, developed to help iGaming operators comply with jurisdictional boundary regulations. The solution utilises the latest geolocation technologies to verify player locations, accurate to within metres. Additional checks are performed to ensure players are not spoofing their locations by using proxy servers or screen sharing software.
