iGaming Business to partner with Global Gaming Expo

14 August 2012

LONDON -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- iGaming Business, leading information and events provider for the online gambling industry, will be once again sponsoring the iGaming Zone at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which will be held October 1-4 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With online gambling fast becoming a reality in the U.S. and state-by-state regulation opening up the market, it’s no wonder that the world’s premier event for the gaming industry has increased its online focus.

“This will be the sixth year we’ve partnered with G2E to host the iGaming Zone – but this year promises to be more exciting than ever,” stated Alex Pratt, head of iGaming Business. “There are huge developments occurring in the North American market, from regulation to big M&A deals and partnerships, and as such I am really excited to see this culminate at G2E, the world’s premier casino-entertainment event. I fully expect the dedicated zone and conference track to be the biggest meeting for the North American iGaming sector to date, and an essential event to attend if you are serious about the emerging opportunities.”

There are a number of education and exhibit opportunities for those in the iGaming sector, including the iGaming Zone, an area of the trade show floor which includes all the key suppliers to help take their business online, from software providers to payment suppliers. Additionally, the G2E Conference includes an iGaming track that provides an overview of gambling operations and regulations around the world. Finally, G2E will also be offering the one-day iGaming Congress on October 1, which will address the impact of internet gambling legalization in the U.S. The focus will be primarily on how to react to the changing face of the industry and take advantage of the new opportunities available.

“We’re pleased to be working with iGaming Business for the sixth year now,” stated Courtney Muller, senior vice president, Reed Exhibitions. “Our partnership supports G2E’s mission of being 'by the industry and for the industry' and it allows us to continue to provide relevant content to our customers by partnering with experts in the iGaming sector.”
