Comcast VP: Comcast is not blocking Bovada

Several Bovada players in the U.S. reported over the weekend that they had trouble accessing the online casino. According to tweets made by Bovada Casino on Friday, many of the players in question appear to utilize Comcast as their Internet service provider.

But according to a release by Comcast on the company's online forums, recent claims that "Comcast is blocking" Bovada are incorrect. In the forum, Comcast Vice President of Internet and Communications Engineering Jason Livingwood states that Comcast "is not blocking that or any other site and would not do so." According to Livingwood, the issue experienced by users over the weekend was likely an issue with the site owner's DNS servers or records. Bovada noted on Twitter over the weekend that players could resolve the issue by updating their DNS servers.
