Default Bet365 payment issues since January (Resolved)

There are constant issues with bet365 unable to send me wires for about 2 years. The money were always stuck, then I was always paid.

I made an invoice in January, money did not come. I asked why. I got quite a clear response from some guy from the team, who explained that their options to send me a wire (to my company) are nearly depleted.

They asked for a lot of documents, which we provided (I was on vacation, so there was a delay about 3 weeks from my side in March).

After that I never got a response. Generating of new invoices is blocked. I am owed money for 4 months.

We write them a message every 2 or 3 weeks, but nobody is responding.

I do not want to throw dirt on the only honest affiliate program, but I really do not know how to contact them. Should I fly to Stoke? I absolutely believe them that this is a problem with the bank, because I am facing the same problems with my payments and I had the same problems with them before and it was always ok in the end.

But is it possible to talk, please?

They actually replied on 13th of May, but I did not see it, because I was on a trip without access to a company email.

The reply is that they can neither pay in crypto and I can not transfer my affiliate account from company to a person, which was my suggestion how to resolve the issue. Because payout out a physical person is much easier than to pay a company I guess.

I have no idea why is not possible to transfer my affiliate account. I guess here was pretty vivid market with affiliate accounts incl. Bet365 and we also once moved ownership of this account from my employee to a company.

    Anyone ever sold/bought bet365 account?

Was the email from bet365.com or bet365partners.com ?

I really believe they have banking problems. The banks are fd up. I absolutely trust them that they have compliance problems at banks, because I also had problems to receive money from them.

So far they always asked for some documents during previous payment delays and it was always resolved. This is why I am writing to GPWA even when the delay is 4 months.

I am the Guinea pig for 2 reasons. The amounts are fairly large and I have an offshore company (I do not even want the offshore anymore since it brings me just troubles and no benefits, but bet365 does not want me to allow change of ownership to me as physical person, which is quite weird tbh). Those 2 reasons are red flags for banks.

But hey, this is 2025. There is a solution for banking problems. It is called crypto.

I switched companies with them last year and it went pretty well.

Maybe you should incorporate a EU company, wherever you think the conditions are better, and use it for some of your payments?

So far I've had bank accounts at two large and known EU banks and never had any issues with payments from betting companies (17 years and counting, no problems or questions whatsoever).

I changed from personal to a company without discussion with them but that was 16 years ago and it's now a hideous world we live in. Bet365 have always been helpful and accommodating but they now have so many regulatory pressures on them from banks, UKGC, government generally. No wonder they are thinking of an exit route. Even someone with the patience of a saint, like Denise must be pulling her hair out with the regulation. The UK generally is suddenly a nightmare in terms of authoritarian control in every aspect. It's amazing how quickly freedoms can erode with a change of government and a POS becomes prime minister. Suddenly we have people in prison for social media posts now and the thought police arriving on the doorstep for tweets. That's the environment we are in. Maybe some of that has no relevance to your issues with Bet365 payments but certainly banks want to know what every frigging payment is for - I spoke to a knowledgeable-sounding guy in Barclays (UK) who really I shouldn't have got through to (as he wasn't customer facing) when trying to send a succession of foreign payments (wanting to keep each under 70k to avoid a full blown inquest) - he told me I must state in the appropriate box what it is for and it should go through without it having a stop put on it. Even though no box actually asks what it is for.

I may be moving too far away from the heart of your issue with Bet365, but the general picture in the UK is suppression, across all aspects of life. But I think you are right not to blame Bet365 too much. That said, still, there is always a way for them to get a payment made.

No. You've got it wrong. You'll only be right after they sell or float.

If bet365 gets sold, it's game over for a lot of people. Only huge affiliates will have some hope.

I considered myself a huge affiliate once, and my only hope was to be culled few years ahead of others.

Bet365 marketing already is not in the UK. The banks, or at least some, are I believe out of UK as well. This is exactly why I had big issues before to receive money from them on side of my bank.

It is a common misinterpretation everywhere in the world, where people think that their own country or system is the one that is fkd up and worse than the others. I do not see a "normal" country anywhere. People just need a hope that there is some sanity somewhere. But it is not anywhere. People and systems and governments and power and taxes were not ready for digital economy. That is all.

But the reality is that by the end of May I am waiting for payment for January at the best overall affiliate program and I sent them everything they wanted.

You've done well to avoid questioning. Santander really got their teeth into me - when the figures rose significantly - so I closed that business account before they closed it on me. Hurriedly set up a new business account elsewhere. I take Bet365 into my business account because the payments are not so obviously from them but all others into a 'burner' personal account (ie: one I am prepared to lose) and then send on to the business account from there.

The problem was different. My bank indeed knows what business I am doing and from whom I am getting money. I keep sending invoices to the bank and the bank charges me % of each incoming payment to cover "high risk".

The problems with bet365 payments are different. They pay from Gibraltar, which is a high risk country and intermediary banks simply refuse to process the payments.

The more I wonder why they do not do crypto.

    Funny thing.

Today I decided that this issue is pssing me off and I started to solve it. I called my banker and their compliance department, whether they are able to open an account for Hillside/Bet365 so I can suggest them to have an account directly at my bank to pay me. Indeed Bet365 would probably never listen to my advice, but being not paid for 6+months I had to do something.

We finished the call less than one hour ago and my bank said they will investigate whether it is possible, because opening a bank account to large institutions is a nightmare etc etc.

Right now I got email from my banker, that Bet365 just paid me (just actually a December invoice that was pending). I still can not generate invoices since January, but I guess this will be resolved soon.

So bet365 is still rock solid. And if = when, they will not pay you, quoting banking problems, you should probably trust them and cooperate.

Yes, probably resolved. I still have blocked the option to make invoices Jan-May 2025, but I guess it will be sorted out soon as well.

I will write here when I receive all the money owed.

Well, now I can not log into my account to create the missing invoices. It says, access blocked. It is really weird. Until now, I could see all revenue until yesterday, when account was accessible. After they finally sent an invoice for December 2024, account was suddenly blocked.

Resetting the password works, but changing it does not help me to get to the account.

I can even make an invoice finally!

20 years ago, I was betting live at bet365. I was always with my overdose of adrenaline until the last second of game.

    But this is much better.

I am going to finish the invoice before Bet365 is sold. Which means now.
