Affiliate programs have their affiliates to pay. Some programs do very well in paying early in the month and well before the payment's due date (or at least on time), which makes life easier for the affiliate. Other programs kinda just march to the beat of their own drum and pay if/when they feel like it. This makes the affiliate's life more complicated.
For this month, let's all commit to making the affiliate's life easier rather than more "complicated".
On a personal note, I am monitoring the Gala/Coral/Ladbrokes situation very carefully. I truly hope that all this nonsense about closing down accounts and cancelling lifetime rev share agreements works itself out by the program doing right by the affiliate. Currently, all my accounts remain open, although I am missing a portion of the month's commissions from my report. The affiliate manager has claimed she will make that right before the payment date. In the event they do not make right, bet your ass I will file with the UK courts.
In the event they do not make right with you (they owe you money they do not pay or they close you down), I strongly encourage you to ask for a contact in their company's legal team so that you can file against them. Right here, right now - in September, a line must be drawn.
As affiliate payments are received, please post who has paid and whether they're early, on time, or late relative to their program terms and/or website propaganda. I wish everyone "on time" and "rich" payments and in advance, I thank those programs who have the courtesy to pay in a timely and accurate manner.
