I have the impression that many dramatic changes are occurring in the area called "UK Online Gambling"

Deadline approaching for UK licence applications

15 September 2014
The UK Gambling Commission has issued a reminder to offshore operators that wish to continue providing gambling service to consumers in Britain that the deadline to apply for a licence is midnight on September 16.
The application deadline is in advance of the Gambling (licensing and Advertising) Act, which comes into force on October 1.
Offshore operators that are currently regulated overseas but transacting with consumers in the UK and wish to continue doing so after October 1 must submit an application and pay a fee by the deadline tomorrow (Tuesday).
Such applications must be made through the Gambling Commission’s official website.
If an application from such operators has not been determined by October 1, the applicant will be issued with a continuation licence to enable them to continue to trade until completion of the application process.

I was told by my AM that Casino UK only accepts UK players now.

GoWild stopped accepting UK players very recently.

I am accessing Casino UK from New Zealand and it takes me to a page that says Casino UK is now Golden Riviera Casino and basically mentions about the license and that Casino UK can only accept players from the UK. Perhaps someone here who lives in the UK could access it to see if it takes them to the proper Casino UK page or if it also mentions Golden Riviera Casino?

According the last newsletter for Casino UK:

They focus on other countries such as Australian, New Zealand, Canada, Europe (some countries).

Regardless of the above, the program (StarPartners) remains one of the best in the industry.

Just got confirmation from Starpartner that Casino UK, Crazy Vegas and Golden Riviera will pull out of the UK. I guess their other brands will do this as well. GoWild already pulled out btw.
