There will be cases for sure where people have had success I work with a few partners that have only 3 Operators on site and wont deal with anyone else .. If your revenue is good through that one partner then why not but you would be leaving yourself a little thin should anything happen to that one operator these things do happen and you know what they say about having all your eggs in open basket so .. think about adding a few others.
I have done so. Single sites for binary option brokers to rank for brand name. with some good results.
I don t think it is a good idea. If I dont like your only bookmaker on your site, I will look for another site that promotes bookies.
Personally I would never have one sponsor on a site, unless it was a landing page. Promoting one sponsor could look a bit bias in the eyes of the visitor. Imagine going in to a supermarket, and them only having one brand of every item, customers like a choice and the ability to make their own decision.
Depends what kind of site it is. If it's a betting guide, then having one bookie isn't the best plan.
But if it were something only vaguely connected - eg: sports blog - then I could see the argument for a 'Sponsor' of the site. Wizard of odds did this with Bodog before he sold the site to LCB and I read a couple of times he said he made more money that way (although much higher risk).
Wouldn't do it personally, but I can see the appeal to both parties on the right site, provided your deal (most likely tenancy or media buy?) is big enough.
onlinegamblingwebsites.com - Formally known as goodbonusguide.
Gambling Domains: Small clear out of some of the domains we've been hoarding - see the spreadsheet here.
I wouldn't do this.
Say you promote Bet365, I come to your site, I already have a Bet365 account so your chance of making anything from me is zero.

but what about the other tons of user without a bet365 account. All confused after the 101 bookmaker review read. Maybe he has some pretty cool usp on his site or a nice step by step to betting success plan. With docs and screenshots of bet365. A real guide to success with bet365 maybe?!
Well yes and I'm not saying you wouldn't get any sign ups, but you are instantly losing any chance of getting a sign up for some of the visitors.
I think it would also depend on what bookmaker you are offering too. On my site most people already have accounts with the major bookmakers and i get higher success with smaller bookmakers such as gentingbet, 12bet, as opposed to 365, slybet, coral etc.
If I did do this, I would at least have a link somewhere saying 'if you are already a customer of xxx then why not look at our other site for more options'.
Thanks everyone for your responses.
I have been doing this for many years but recently stopped. The only companies that I still get payments from is Bet365 and until next month SkyBet. I have over 1,000 members signed up to BetBright but never get a penny as nobody plays. Therefore, I was thinking of only promoting Bet365, but as many of you have said, most people will already have an account.
Sounds like rev share rather than any tenancy agreement then which makes putting all your eggs in one basket a bit of a risk, particularly if you get clobbered with a big winner on the negative carry-over. Depends if it's a sideline or your only source of income I guess.
Smaller/newer brands are easier to recruit but as you say their retention can be appalling - maybe CPA is the way to go on these bookies if you can recruit in decent volumes and the lifetime value is likely to be poor? Always worries me with CPA though that you miss out on a whale!
Promoting only 1 brand will kind of limit you in many ways:
1. content quantity, there's a limit of how much fresh & exclusive content you can get for only 1 brand,
which is also a factor when talking content freshness in SEO.
2. It's better to have multiple alternatives and provide your players with a wider variety to choose from.
It also makes you look more reliable, rather than promoting the one brand that is most profitable.
3. You shouldn't be depending on 1 brand - what if it suddenly closes ?
i'v seen huge brands close without a prior notice - this can crash your site immediately.
4. If you have a variety of brands, your whole marketing strategy becomes more elastic and healthy, as you can focus on the specific brands that your players like the most and bring the most profit - rather than just being stuck with 1 brand.
However, with all this risk - there's also an other site...
If you become one of the biggest affiliates for a well-known brand and gain high popularity, that's something others will find hard to compete with.
Do your math and decide what's good for you mate![]()
Are you targeting primarily UK traffic?
Yes it can work well if you're getting a good domain name. But it will take a lot of time then too to get the site ranked. You also need to be careful the the target casino since you're probably competing directly with them regarding the customers if you do SEO. If you're on the other hand is focusing on for instance mobile casino and sell the traffic to one site, they will love you. The problem then is of course what deal you'll get... they don't have any competition on your site... so you get very dependent on them.
