Default Most feasible way / place to sell domains?

    Hi all!

Somehow I've managed to buy a bunch of domains, before having a single site live yet. I've most of those parked at Sedo.

I was after a domain, which would have expired soon, but (surprise surprise) it was renew. Later on I sent email to the webmaster asking, if she/he would be intrested about the domain I have (which would suite to her/his existing site). And she / he was..

    Now the question(s)..
If we agree with the costs, what would be the most feasible way of selling these (3-5) domains? As per my knowledge Sedo will charge me a minimun price / domain.

As (I suppose) those domains are not too much for value, is there some other way for seller / buyer to ensure, that one will get what promised? There's not much sense if I sell a domain for $100 and pay $75 as costs.

I've a feeling this is pretty stupid question (even in freshman forum), but I already tried the "search" option, but didn't find a topic giving the answers..

    All information appreciated.

I sold a domain and used escrow.com a while back. Went very smoothly. Can't remember the fees offhand but definitely recommended.

You can try the domain auction from godaddy, namepros and dnforum. A friend sold a domain at flippa so you can check it out. I haven't personally tried it though.

Don't forget to look at Moniker also.

    Those are all good options:

    Godaddy domain auctions
    Sedo
    Flippa
    Moniker

The key I would imagine is finding someone reputable to deal with and I have either used them or know people who have used them all.

If you want to sell them at a little less expense, you might see if you can find some marketing forums that allow you to list them in the buy, sell, trade section (there should be one here. I haven't seen one if there is one). The only problem with this is you will pretty much be on your own as far as completing the transaction. That's the trade off in the lower costs.

    Good luck.

Theres a big auction coming up ...

    https://www.gpwa.org/forum/online-ga...on-188653.html

Seeing slots.com up for over a mil, I figured I would submit my domains for a mil or so myself.

Thank you all for above information. I have checked the costs only from the website recommended by Simmo! and I'll view the others during weekend. If we have a deal I'll inform you 'how we did it' and about the costs

I also agree with 'my3sons'.. would it be possible for gpwa to arrange a 'buy/sell/trade a domain section' for members, or negotiate a good low cost deal with some of above websites/companies?

Have a nice weekend you all!

The only problem with Moniker and a lot of companies like that is that they make you transfer the domain into their hold before the auction takes place.

I dont know about anyone else but that sits uneasy with me.

Have you tried advertising the domains here?
There are usually silent snipers going around looking for domains to buy but never post here.. You may get lucky.
