It is people like this that really tarnish the industry, and I do hope that we can find more ways to let the public know THIS is not what the industry is all about.

I can’t understand these bustards that abuse animals, they have to be really sick in the head. I hope the doggies will be able to find homes.
This is so horrible... I dont understand how people can do something like this...
A reflection of the problems with certain parts of society rather than our industry, disgusting.

Anyone that harms animals is gutless, I didnt read the article because I know it will make me angry.
Those heartless bastards should be seriously punished!
It's very cruel and should be illegal.
But as a person who's eating meat, eggs and dairy products almost everyday, I don't really feel what I do is any better.
Well betting on which animal will kill the other is a lot different from eating meat.
The first is cruel, the second sustains life.

I'm not sure cows would agree how eating them sustains life, but you know...
Oh, but of course they are... I will save you the gruesome videos, but I can assure it is not pretty. A known saying claims that for animals, every day is Treblinka (the name of one of the Nazi death-camps). You can find a book dealing with the subject here. I can PM you some videos if you really want to but I would rather not, as I am a carnivore and would rather not research the subject.
Changing supermarkets won't help. Very few people actually consume meat, dairy and egg products that are produced in a truly "humane" fashion, especially if you eat in fast food joints, restaurants, or even just eat a snack here and there.
Well the debate whether to be a vegatarian or not aside,
I am personally glad they broke up this dog fighting gambling ring.

Of course.
I cant stand reading about animal cruelty, it makes me so angry. The people behind this should be locked up and throw away the key. Being fined and Jailed is putting it mildly IMO. As for eating meat, well i am not a vegetarian but I really dont think that its the same thing.

Rebecca.
It's hard to imagine how some people can get enjoyment from the suffering of others.
These morons also give pit bulls a bad reputation they don't deserve. Because a$$es are allowed to own dogs and mistreat them...and people have a tendency to overreact to media, there's been a lot of trouble for pitbulls that they don't deserve, such as Breed Specific Legislation. Unfair and reactionary.
During the first half of the 20th century, the American Pit Bull Terrier was the closest thing the United States had to a national dog. Pit bulls were the dog of choice for famous personages such as Helen Keller, Laura Ingalls Wilder (of Little House on the Prairie fame), and President Theodore Roosevelt.Meanwhile, pit bulls were chosen as mascots by the Buster Brown shoe company and by the United States itself, which featured pit bulls on American propaganda posters for each of the first two world wars.
Fittingly, the first dog decorated with medals by the armed forces was one Sgt. Stubby. In the first world war, Sgt. Stubby not only survived being twice wounded in combat, but captured a German spy and saved his entire platoon from a poison gas attack.
In 1903, an American Pit Bull Terrier named Bud became the first dog to travel across the entire US via car. He accompanied the first humans to make a non-stop journey cross country by automobile, but his fame eclipsed theirs, as newspapers in cities across America featured a goggle-wearing Bud.
