Am managing bookmaker portal site specially for Japanese since 2013.
and fortunately, the website is now one of the biggest in the category in Japan.

I believe there are more room to grow in Japan, many few bookmakers and online casinos approach Japan.
and now, Gambling officially got legal in Japan since 15/Dec/2016.
(Hasnt mentioned anything about online Gambling though...)
So the market must become wider...

well... it depends on the strategy, its bit hard but not "mission impossible".

I know one English man to run successful casino portal site.
now its easier to hire Japanese translator online and SEO knowledge is important as same as other market.

of course its easy to clear the game with native partner though...

This important statement is incorrect and I will correct it as a representative of Japan.

In Japan, the media calls it "Casino law", and many Japanese are misinterpreted.
The official name of this bill is called "the draft bill for promoting the development of a specific complex tourist facility area", and the abbreviation is called "IR promotion bill".

Although the bill passed in the Diet on December 15, 2016, this does not mean that casinos (gambling) will be immediately lifted in Japan.
It imposes on the country the responsibility of promoting the establishment of casinos and legal maintenance such as measures against gambling.

The "specific complex tourism facility" is defined in the bill as follows.

"Casino facilities and conference center facilities, recreation facilities, display facilities, accommodation facilities and other facilities that are considered to contribute to the promotion of tourism are integrated facilities that private operators set up and operate"

In a nutshell, it's Integrated Resort (IR).
