Sportsbet/IASBEt Predatory Terms - Beware of Paddy Power's Australian Brands

In case anyone is promoting Sportsbet or IASBet it's important to take note of one of the clauses in the affiliate agreement. If you do not send them 4 new active players in a 3 month period they can at their own discretion not pay you any of the money your players earn in that period. Unfortunately, I discovered this term the hard way by being screwed of 4 figures for 2 consecutive months after I decided to give them less exposure on some of my sites.

Stick to Bet365 and William Hill's SportingBet as they are much more affiliate friendly, even to small guys, unlike Paddy Power who just offer rubbish terms (no crossover unless some sort of special case/sending tons of action) and who will pretty much steal your commissions unless you keep actively promoting their brands. My advice - avoid.

Removing players after 24 months is not affiliate friendly (take a look at their terms). Possibly the worst brand of the lot. Also they have a horrible history, including closing the program and stealing players before re-opening after a few years. There have been many threads here in the past extoling their lack of virtues, and with good reason.

Let's hope that means the terms improve in the future, but the company is currently being run as a separate brand with an entirely separate affiliate program, and the main rogue term is still there:
4.3 We shall pay to you (the ''Affiliate Fees'') a commission, constituting a revenue share payment and/or a CPA payment, and save as otherwise agreed such commission shall be payable in accordance with the terms of the Affiliate Sign up Form and to be set out by us, and shall be payable for a period of 24 months from the date of first registration of each New Customer.

Anyone has Sportsbet.com.au contact? I am not paid over 6 months. Nobody is responding. It is extremely annoying.

I resolved the payment issue after 1 year. They kept doing the same typo over and over in IBAN number. Incredible, but true.

Even more incredible is that after they send the first payment exactly 12 months (and 50+ emails to many people) after due date, they failed to send another payment, because they again made ctrl+c and ctrl+v of the IBAN with one wrong digit.

They also deduct ~50 AUD for bankwire, which is nowhere stated.

I was also robbed (not sure if the expression is adequate) of few hundreds because they fell out of promotion and they have some 4 player/3 months rule after which they do not close account but stop paying commission.

Except this experience they are really great. I think very strong brand for AU/NZ traffic. I do not have a lot of this traffic, but it converts well. Also I was lucky to catch some whale who is betting on the racing dogs (or what is the name). He has incredible 5 digits strikes up and down. Sadly for them and luckily for me they have the commission reset and they honor everything in full.
