Lets see if there is a common denominator?
Lets see if there is a common denominator?
It depends....on many factors.
Was a high percentage of the traffic that led to the signups using keywords "free games" or "no deposit bonus" or "free money"?
If so certainly lower numbers then keywords like "deposit bonus" "great slots" "trusted casino" etc etc etc.

Also depends on the brand, taking my traffic as an example:
You have BrandA and BrandB - for both brands I get traffic from relatively good KWs with clear registration intent.
BrandA - for every 100 regs, I get between 15 and 17 FTDs.
BrandB - for every 100 regs, I get between 13 and 16 FDTs.
Just to throw in one more (as I'm now curious myself):
BrandC (looks like this is the winner) - 46 FTDs out of the last 100 regs.
All three brands have pretty similar KW traffic.

Depends on the traffic terms, high converting ones for us are around 70% to 80% sign up to FTD. Lower might be in the 30% to 40% range. If you're doing no deposit type terms then it'll probably be <10%.
It'll vary by brand as well. Some will convert better than others - sometimes for good reason, others it seems to make zero sense (but there will probably be a reason).
The geo often makes a difference as well. Some countries tend to have lower conversion rates. Or where the users sign up but can't deposit or verify their account. That'll make a difference.
Don't worry so much about comparing your site to others. Look more at your own stats - if one brand is converting at 80% and another is 20% then you might want to look into that lower figure and find out why.

Also... whilst sign up to FTD conversion rates are important, don't forget to look at raw FTD numbers as well. For example (fictional examples):
Brand 1 - 100 sign ups, 20 FTD
Brand 2 - 20 sign ups, 10 FTD
Here brand 1 has a conversion rate of 20% whereas brand 2 has a conversion rate of 50%. But brand 1 results in double the FTDs.
This is a made up example but it does happen in the wild.

On sports it's generally around 80%, give or take.
One thing to keep an eye on though is fraud, if the numbers for a program suddenly leap for no reason, or the ratio of depositors changes massively up or down, then it's worth investigating. If it's too good to be true then it probably is.

As others have said it depends on what your converting terms are and how good the brand is at converting those registrations to depositors.
I think anything less than 50% is not good - although if they have a new offer or you have an exclusive with them that can sometimes happen. Some of the better programs can manage 80%+ on a regular basis.

It depends on the brand, the brand's bonuses, where the traffic comes from, and what quality it is. For one of my top brands, more than half of the registrations in recent months have always resulted in first deposits. This includes different types of traffic from pure SEO to banners on the website.
It is hard to give a straightforward answer because there are multiple factors involved. I have noticed that the brand is a significant factor, but the traffic source and geographical location also play a crucial role. However, as mentioned above, it's essential to analyze the raw data because high conversion rates don't necessarily translate to higher profits.

it depends on keyword page, brand and also their banking and retention team ( which will also chase sign ups) some have call centers others have good campaigns it really is almost impossible to guage, the only way is trial and test

Never really bothered about that number.
What counts most if your page is ranking in the top 2, not top 3, but the top 2 for any meaningful conversions.
Second is the amount per deposit and the number of deposits per client.
I have many customers from India and Pakistan, where value per ftd is no more than $1 to $10 LIFETIME.
Only ONE player from a place like Sweden can be worth a 1000 ftds or 10,000 registrations from Nigeria, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
I'd be happy to have 10% CR.
It really depends on the traffic quality and geo. SEO traffic for terms like "highest FTD bonus" is probably better than "no deposit bonus for new players"...

A healthy ratio is considered around 1 FTD to 5-10 regs, if we are talking about SEO traffic and don't take into account free / no deposit keywords
It depends on page's intent. Some page's ration can be around 1 FTD per 10 regs, but some pages (especially bonuses) can be around 1 FTD per 50-100 regs.
It really depends. Our games related sites get a reg2dep of 7-10%. Sports Sites have a reg2dep of 20-30%. It also depends on the market you are in.
Depends highly on the traffic source
1. True type in (highest) followed by SEO. This is also dependent on the region and if it has good processing for payments (very NB)
