Does anybody subscribe to Revenue Magazine www.revenuetoday.com I picked up a free copy in Vegas at CAP in September and found it pretty useful. Does anybody agree? Is it worth subscribing?

I have been getting issues of this sent to me for some time now, but I have never actually subscribed ( I certainly dont pay for them). I know there are a number of companies that I am affiliated with that do indeed advertise in there so I just assumed one of them must have put me down as a comp subscribtion, but I have never managed to figure out who.

I find it a very interesting read, it is the only magazine I know of that is aimed at affiliates and online marketing. I like it and always have a read through.

I'm not sure if I would pay for it or not, as in all fairness there is nothing in there that you couldnt find out online, but I am still glad when it drops through my door

I have never paid for a subscription, but have gotten just about every one. I think one of the programs I work with comps my subscription (they are advertisers in the magazine). I love the magazine. It is written from a pro-affiliate standpoint and has a lot of gambling related info. My favorite section is "by design" where they look at improving website conversion by updating or targetting the design.

It is an expensive publication, though... Not sure why it is so expensive considering the amount of advertising revenue they must be generating.

Ditto on the free subscription. I think I got it because I attended CAP in Vegas a couple of years ago and probably signed up at a booth.

Good info as Matt points out. I'd check around, Vallerius, someone probably can at least get you a free trial (I think mine was a free trail and just never stopped - lol).

I subscribed for a year ages ago and the subscription never seemed to run out. I think it must be easy to get on their free mailing list.

Some of the articles are very interesting and helpful. However, sometimes I tend to think they run some articles to fill out the pages.

I just found out the subscription is free without having to get some special comp arrangement, so I went ahead and signed up. I picked up a copy at the CAC Vegas last September and thought it was really worthwhile material. Being so focused on the gambling side of things myself, it was interesting to see material from a non-industry-specific perspective.

The paper version is only free if you're located in the U.S., but there is a free electronic version as well and a paid paper version for those outside the states.

The articles are mostly targeted to newbies. And sometimes they seem to be missing the whole point entirely. A lot of the articles have no relevance to affiliates. Nonetheless there are some interesting sections as when they focus on an affiliates life, etc

The best part is the advertising as you can discover new programs to sign up with.
