I've just come from a holiday where I was in Hawaii. I have some friends there, and they were in Vegas with me. They flew there just to gamble because there is no land based gambling in Hawaii and they fly to Vegas once a year.

Every taxi driver that has taken me to or from the airport there (I've been to Hawaii 3 times since August) has asked what I do, then tells me how they play online. My friend also said he plays online, has a secret bookie, and is an affiliate (had no idea).

Seems like everyone there plays online or through a "secret" bookie for sports, so I imagine if Hawaii did go ahead and legalise a casino there, they would probably get decent revenue.
