    Default Dot Casino domain names

I've been offered a few of these today. Are they any good with a chance of ranking? Or should they be avoided.

    Thanks

    Hello!

For some time now, Google allegedly no longer evaluates what a domain ends up on. Therefore it should be possible to rank a .casino domain just as well as a .com domain. But I understand your scepticism too well. For this reason I have recently acquired a .info domain. I will tell you in the next months how it works for me

    Best regards,
    Casino Boy

    Hi!

Last year i had 5 .casino domains but they haven't some pluses in Google.
So i decided to buy only .com, .net, .org domains. They are cheaper and have the same positions.

    Hi!

Until now everything works fine with the .info domain. I don't see any problems in ranking. But yes, you are right. The regular domains are cheaper and sometimes more trustworthy for the users.

    Kind regards,
    Casinoboy

We recently launched https://www.casinosonline.casino and were initially a bit nervous as we generally stick to the old .com and country domains. It is still a work in progress, but we have so far found that out of all of the sites we have launched over the years, this particular one got spidered and indexed very quickly by Google. It may be sheer coincidence or perhaps a better structure than our previous sites, but I can definitely say that the .casino TLD did not do anything detrimental.

As already mentioned, I find .com classic and for me also testifies to seriousness. .casino of course also has its merits Depends on the other domain.

Regarding SEO there should be no difference.

Domain names do not have a direct impact on SEO.
However, there may be a small chance of being disadvantaged if it contains too many misplaced words.

You might want to avoid domains that can't keep their WHIIS information private.

Don't forget the relative factor........if 1 out of a hundred webpages is on a .casino...and 1 out of ten of those is good enough to rank top 10.....then theoretically you will only see a .casino page in the top 10 once in a 1000 searches.

At least I think that maths/reasoning is right.

Summary....you won't see many .casino webpages ranked because numerically there are a lot less of them (good enough) compared to the main players...and those main players will have age/authority more on their side (quite likely).

None of that means a (new) .casino can't rank.....evidence would suggest it has just as much chance as a (newish) .com or anything else ...but it'll be fighting against the same tide as everything else as a new site.

As far as I know, this isn't entirely true. Google still respects ccTLDs (country code domains) and I feel like I get a boost in this country, when I use a ccTLD. Can't guarantee that this is true information but that's what I experienced.

It seems to me that only licensed casinos will be able to rank at normal positions in such a .casino zone.

Agree with CHIC21. But if you want to do some local rankings, i would suggest to work with ccTLDs.

Internet domains have a verrry small SEO impact. If Google definitely prefers TLD ones (com, net, org...) to fancy ones (casino, media, airforce...), once again it really has a verrry small impact on your rankings. Domain names are mostly useful to internet users so they can easily remember them (but most people search on Google even if they know the domain name).

here in the netherlands i see a lot of .casino domains popping up and they all get top rankings out of nowhere. not sure if these are temporary high rankings but it is something that is happening for a few months now.
    Life is a gamble
