I want to put a top list on a site and I was trying to think of a good way to rank it. Number of hits out is really a ranking of the banner rather than the site. Number of hits in is just traffic quantity rather than quality of site or traffic. Getting the surfers to vote is complex and open to abuse.

I ran out of ideas after these three. Has anyone got a better method?
