Anti-Scraping Software Installed

We have recently installed anti-scraping software on the GPWA website. We do not believe this new software should introduce any problems for our regular forum users, but if you do encounter any new issues using the forum, please let us know so we can investigate.

We installed this new software because GPWA member Muppet reported our site was being scraped in the following forum post: A site is live scraping the entire gpwa site (Thank you Muppet).

In response we have installed a product called ZB Block, which is able to thwart certain site scrapers from continuing to steal site content.

The issue I'm having now is it will not keep me logged in. I'm having to constantly log in just about everytime I go to a new page. Not that big of a deal to have to do that.

I've had this problem since the forum had that virus. Anytime I log in, I have to log in a second time. Rick made a few suggestions (tried them), but the problem is not on my end.

I would have to agree with Shay....had the problem before but not as bad as now.

I'm under a proxy right now. Hey, I'm not the scraper!

my gigabit network is banned as well, can view forum from mobile only

Can you please provide the public IP address of the computer that's blocked? You can get your public IP address by visiting http://whatsmyip.org.

My UK proxy is blocked too.
