Web traffic, why is it mainly from Africa

Hi,
We have a fairly new website that we have been posting Premier League previews. Traffic was obviously slow to start with. But this weeks previews have taken off ten fold, which is great. My concern is that a lot of the traffic comes from Africa mainly Kenya (60% traffic). Is there any reason why it seems country specific? The keywords searched seem to be quite generic and I would of thought would rank the same in most countries.
Any ideas would be a big help. It is nice to get traffic but am not sure it would convert well

If I am reading it right it is 59%, but I am not really analytically savvy

PromoteCasino - I will take a guess that your website is mobile-friendly - and that's way you are getting this traffic.

WebTraffic is NOT "Mainly from Africa" - but there is a fresh segment of traffic there that is voluminous but not very valuable.

It seems that the mobile data revolution has hit Kenya / Nigeria, and put an internet device into the hands of millions of new people.
Typically we see these visitors are using a mobile, and the opera-mini browser (which can remove graphics and minimise data).
It's a cheap interface, and low cost access is important to these visitors.

Unfortunately, I've yet to see much (any) traction with African players at the client sites - a few registrations - but very few depositing players.

trouble with african players is a lot have difficulty making deposits due to their lack of options

as gooner said though the majority all of a sudden have access to the internet due to smart phones

Thanks for taking time to explain, the site is mobile friendly but ugly at the moment.
It was quite exciting though to see an increase in traffic hopefully as time goes by the traffic will become more profitable

I actually don`t have a mobile friendly site, but Kenyans are all over me. Not complaining, just saying ...
