    Default Favourite Oasis Song

Oasis-mania has hit now that this summer’s gigs have started. The snippets from the first gig in Cardiff sounded incredible, and the set list looked brilliant. Begs the question, what’s your favourite Oasis song? Cigarettes and alcohol for me, then Whatever a close second.

is anyone attending one of the gigs this summer?

I mix up all those sounds like Coldplay and Oasis.
Electric guitar screech, weak drums and a northern whine.

I remember wonderwall ... it was OK.

Tried their greatest hits video on youtube ... I don't think they're my thing.

I think that you had to grow up with them to actually like them.

No offense - you'd say the same about my favs.

Haha, none taken - yes, you’re right Britpop and Oasis in particular were a massive part of my formative years, so that will always resonate the most!

Same here, being a teenager in the 90's they were my favourite band. I am off to Manchester on Friday for their first gig by in their home city.

Favourite song depends on how I am feeling but my favs include: Whatever, stand by me, don't look back in anger, she's electric, live forever and the masterplan

So many to choose from, but as Mattbar says, depends on the mood. Some classics for me are Talk Tonight, The Masterplan, Round our Way, Up in the Sky (acoustic) Digsy's Dinner, Take me Away, and the classics, Don't Look Back In Anger, Live Forever.

Yeah I am quite excited. I am one of the ones who paid the in demand price but I don't go to many gigs these days and it is not something I wanted to miss.

It was epic. We got front standing in the ballot, which really made it. Might not have been so good right at the back.

They worked hard, sounded as good as in the 90's.

I have two: Acquiesce and The Masterplan. The reunion live shows look and sound amazing!

For me, it’s definitely Don’t Look Back in Anger, never gets old live. Champagne Supernova is a close second. Sadly, I’m not going to any gigs this summer, but the Cardiff clips got me buzzing, sounds like they’re still killing it on stage!

Wonderwall is a beautiful song by Oasis and it's stuck with me, ever since I was a teenage boy.

Same here. The people around me like it so much that sometimes I think I'm missing something.

Not a huge Oasis fan, but my two favorites would be Don't Look Back in Anger & Champagne Supernova

My favourite has probably always been “Live Forever.” It still sounds timeless, and the lyrics hit differently now compared to when it first came out.
