EDU backlinks not showing

A question on backlinks.

I have a couple of edu backlinks showing in google webmaster tools but they do not show up in Semrush or Ahref. Should I care as long as google sees them?

I tried to check your sites via Majestic, and I do not see any .edu links. Maybe you have to wait a bit longer for the links to be indexed by SEO tools, google may be faster in it. BTW do you think these kind of links will help to climb up in the SERP? I think it sounds too good to be true, especially in this niche.

You should be glad that SEO tools don't show your edu backlinks, that's an information that your competitors won't get

Tools are a guide.. they are seriously flawed but can give you an idea.

I think there is no difference what these tools are showing, I do not see a ton of my links on ahrefs for example The most important thing is that google sees and index it it, and all other is just a bonus..
