When will I get approved???

I have been waiting for over 3 weeks now to get approval for the forums.

What's going on? This is ridiculous.

It is a multi-step process to get approved for the private forums. This sometimes takes a while whilst all the appropriate security checks are carried out.

Hi Guys,
We're sorry about the delays, but there are several areas that are checked out and verified by *all* the members of the Membership Team before preliminary approval; any questions that come up during that process then have to be checked into and addressed. And all the members on the Membership Team are volunteers with their own businesses to maintain, so it doesn't always happen as quickly as anyone would like.

After there's a consenus from the Membership Team of approval on your application, you're then presented to the General Membership for 3 days. The General Membership doesn't vote on you, but if anyone has an adverse info, they're asked to let us know so we can decide if it would affect your GPWA eligibility.

After you clear all that, you're admitted. The whole process takes a little more time than we'd all like, but we do everything we can to protect the privacy of GPWA.

I found the wait for the approval process to be worthwhile. Once in the doors of the GPWA i came upon some insights from other webmasters that alone have saved me thousands.
