Winnings at the end of every month in a certain casino

There is a certain casino that I promote. It always seems that during the month the revenues keeps going up and up - but then in the last week, it takes a dramatic drop.

Supposedly a player is withdrawing profits. But then, why would they re-deposit in the beginning of the month and withdraw toward the end of the month - repeatedly.

It would be helpful to other affiliates if you name the property, since it could gain other responses to see if it happens to others as well to see if it is a pattern.

It's good to know which casino you're referring to, so other affiliates can chip in. This happens to me sometimes. I build up a lot of money from high rollers, and then almost always in the last few days of the month, my earnings suddenly become negative by the hundreds, if not more. It's also as a result of chargebacks and withdrawals.

Keep in mind that If a player gets banned, their money also gets banned (banned amount). When I check on my stats for Mainstreet Affiliates, there are many columns and some of those columns include Banned Amount, Depositors Banned, Deposits Banned, and Net Win Banned. Have a look at your statistics more closely, your answer might be there. If it's not, then there's probably something questionable going on.

I really really hesitated to name the affiliate program because it is one of my favorites. And I would not like to get into a conflict such as the recent one with King Billy.

But the affiliate program is the Drake Casino.

OK - they are my favorite casino in the sense that they have lots of games you can play for free - I have been with them at least since 2013 - there are also very few players in my account.

It’s factual and it happens all too frequently so that I have noticed a persistent pattern over the last 8 years.

In fact, after I replied today, I checked the stats and it just happened again! So I downloaded the player report and looked at the detail numbers.

The net win of the players @ 25.288% is the total $ Rev Share as shown in the interim recap net revenue per this formula.

Gross Win - Tournament Profit - Bonuses -+ Real Chip Adjustments - Charge Backs = Net Win

In the monthly payment report the formula shown with the all numbers is

Gross Win - Bonuses - New Chargebacks - COGS ( assumed to be Processing Fees, Casino Royalty Fees) - Previous CB’s = Net Win - Less COGS & CB’s = Net Win Less COGS & CB’s @ Rev Share 45% = $ Rev Share

(the net win was 26.52% before COGS & CB’s)

As I said - once again, there is a sharp dip in total $ Rev Share, near the end of the month.

One logical explanation to explain this phenomena is that since there are so few players in the mix, that 1 person always plays and/or gets lucky near the end of the month.

(There is also no information as whether the players play slots or table games.)

Good you named the programs. Would be helpful if more affiliates knew of different programs where this activity might be normal where statistically it shouldn't be.

How do you guys get the best out of the betting on most casinos? I am having a hard time to get some decent winnings in my games and i am really frustrated with it. Some others think that there is an easy way to do so but i beg to differ. There are times where some players who have won a lot would later tend to drop their winnings and lose. I want to see others try to make the most of that end and get the wins they did back when they were still making more money too.

While a debate about any specific program may or may not be treating an affiliate fairly in the stats could happen, the phenomena of "some" players increasing gambling activity toward the end of the month can sometimes be logical.

Some people may have most of their bills paid as the month end nears, allowing some knowing what their disposable income will be that month.
Some people get paid at the end or near end of the month, allowing some knowing what their disposable income will be that month.

One logical explanation to explain this phenomena is that since there are so few players in the mix, that 1 person always plays and/or gets lucky near the end of the month.

I think this is the biggest factor, and could be a series of factors that combined with other possible scenarios affect your stats at that program regularly.

Obviously when the product is sports, many other factors come into play such as which sport the player is betting on and what games have taken place or are scheduled etc. which you have clearly explained is not a factor in your specific example.

Since it's bothering you that much, you should just speak directly with your account manager, and see if they can shed some light on the situation for you, or even hopefully work out some sort of solution, to this ongoing and frustrating issue.
