Just started my binary option affiliate site offering cashback

Hi everyone,

Just started my website a week ago. www.cashfrombinary.com

I plan to offer cashback to customers who sign up at my list of brokers. Appreciate feedback and suggestions about how i can improve my site. I am totally new to being an affiliate as well as operating a website, so some of my concerns are:

1. Driving traffic to my site
2. Getting my site shown up in search engines
3. Scams in binary option industry (including bad brand names that show on my website which i hope to weed out eventually)
4. Getting users to trust my service?
5. Getting paid by affiliate managers?

I think my offer is generous, for an account with min deposit of $250, i pay $180 back to the customer. Sounds like a good deal, but currently i am having a tough time driving good quality traffic to my website.

It seems like a good idea but you need to consider the following:

1. Check with the brokers if they approve of such promotional methods (I guess it should be fine).
2. You will have to somehow fix it with the brokers so they will reveal the identity of depositors to you so you can verify if the people who will come and ask you for the $180 are really who they say they are. This can be a bit complicated, as pretty much no affiliate platform offers this by default.

I do know a network that does this specifically (it lets you know the names of depositors and their deposit amount), however it is a network and not a broker. PM me if you are interested.

3. You need to shield your real identity from the public. You most definitely don't want to send random people on the internet (perhaps up to several hundred per month) money with your real name or from a company that can be linked to you personally. If something goes wrong, you are exposed. By giving them money you are directly involved in whatever scheme the brokers are involved. The brokers don't even have to be scams; all it takes is for some country where currently binary options are in a gray area (like all countries ) to crack down and your name is out there along with the brokers.

Regarding your initial questions:

1 and 2 - This might seem a standard answer but it's true: Just write high-quality content and you will get traffic. You don't even need any links. I'm not even joking. The binary options affiliate scene is nowhere as competitive as poker or casino; if you have a site with like 200-300 real pages (REAL content, like 1,000+ words per page) you WILL get handsome traffic just by the content alone... and perhaps even links.

Also, since your idea is very interesting, your site will most likely spread by word of mouth and social shares. I think this is where the bulk of your visitors will come from in the long term.

3 - Not that difficult. Just check out some authority binary affiliate sites and they all propose legit brokers. Check the sites that have active forums, as these sites are forced to promote legit brokers only because if not their forum users would complain and undermine their whole site.

4 - Just have a very well made site with high-quality content (I would say your site looks "average" now; it needs to be a real and professional design). Create a forum where users can post feedback on your site and services, so that others will then see it's legit. Use independent review sites like Trustpilot.

5 - Since you will be working with legit brokers, this will not be a problem.

6** - Don't do business in the USA. Generally, it's ok to be an affiliate for USA brokers, as you just have a site that posts links to other sites, so you most likely won't be targeted. However since you will be giving people money to sign up at brokers you are taking this one step further and would basically put yourself in the same situation where brokers are at (it is illegal for offshore brokers to solicit USA residents to trade binary options; there are no genuine USA brokers with affiliate programs).

Yes i informed all the programs that i am running an incentive program. But i am also worried about some affiliate program managers.. i read some reviews where affiliate did not get paid.. and if so i cannot pay my customers, and my reputation will go down the drain.

Sounds like incentivized traffic to me.

I would check the terms of service to make sure this is even allowed, and it could mean problems later on down the road if using this method for CPA traffic.

Very few gambling programs allow incentivized signups for CPA payments - mainly because the possibly of fraud skyrockets.

Specifically, you send friends and acquaintances who have no intention of spending any more money there - so the CPA is more than the possible profits. Once this happens with 3-4 customers in a row - you will run into problems with the site.

Binary Options sites might be so immature that they haven't worked this out yet - but unless the Binary Option site is making money from your traffic (after they pay your the CPA) you are very likely to have the deal cancelled and payments withheld.

Wouldn't touch this kind of model with a bargepole. I know cashback sites are popular but it creates a lot of admin. Imagine if you got really popular and were having to check and verify 100+ payments per day. Horrible admin task and also like the others have said there's so many ways this can go wrong on both sides.

It's a bit like with the sports betting, the worst type of person signing up is the one who's just been incentivised by a daft enhanced odds offer and is thinking they can make a quick £30 and cash out ASAP. You want quality traffic for the long term, people who are going to be quality bettors and that is the same in any gambling niche, so I personally am OUT.

I agree with everybody. Make SURE you know for absolute certain that your 'cash back' ideas are allowed. Or you could be having a nasty surprise some day, when things are running smoothly.. Best communicate and, find that broker who accepts it.

If they're OK with it --- get that in writing so you don't wake up one day down the road to a "new" affiliate manager who decides he doesn't like the way you're sending the traffic you're sending and as a result is not going to pay you.

Just look on topcashback and quidco. They pay £10-£30 for the avg casino signup. Nowhere near the CPA you would be offered for standard traffic.
