What's crazy is that I saw Steven Seagal - yes THAT Steven Seagal, lol - doing an interview afterwards saying he actually taught Silva that kick and that Silva's camp approached him for advice and tips on quote un quote his "deadly moves," lol. Crazy KO.

Seagal is some crazy Akido master... he should have stuck to fighting because he can't make movies.

I am just amazed he managed to get enough force to cause a knockout with that kick because it didn't even look like he connected all that hard.

Ya me too... I think what happened was he was expecting a push kick or some kind of body shot so was probably focussing his energy on bracing for that and was going to throw a counter (thats what it looks like he was just about to do before dropping). Since he was caught off guard he hadn't tensed up those muscles to protect and Silva hit him dead on in the right spot with just enough force to knock him out.

Agreed.... What a bumer this fight was....
One of my buddies was in Vegas to see it...
UFC 129 is the first fight coming here to Ontario, and tickets go on sale to the public tommorrow...

The excitement here is insane....Tickets are between $50-$800 and Ontario has one of the largest UFC fan bases in the world.... and this is the first events since MMA was illegal for many years here... But the government just changed the law since they saw the gravy train that would come in if they legalized it...

So here to hoping for a much better fight...GSP is going to be sick....
