I do not get it, not even close what someone is trying to do here. To pretend being Betfair affiliate and promote Betfred sportsbook via spam.

    Hi,

This was an unfortunate error in a genuine email to reactivate partners who have lapsed, so apologies for the confusion. Please don't let this detract from the original purpose of the email sent by a very hard working and professional affiliate manager.

Any questions or concerns please contact me on the below.

    Either
    1) some guys do affiliate management for both Betfair and Betfred and they ****** up
    2) someone wanted you to sign up under Betfred. But why not change the second link (which is apparently correct) as well?

Too bad this happened, clearly a copy paste error.

No need to speculate since Jonathan provided a clear explanation.

That's the only thing that I could think of. Other than having the sender named as Betfair since they are more popular and some people out of the million of spam then signs up at Betfred without reading. Just my guess.
