I'm interested to purchase a 2nd class license, anyone know what CAEN codes I need in order to apply with a Romanian company for the license?

    I was wrong.

    Hi,

From 1st September 2016 we will no longer be able to pay commission on any new traffic from Romania if you, as an affiliate, do not have a Class 2 ONJN licence. This is due to a change in licensing laws in Romania, and a decision out of Betfair’s hands. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    • If you already have obtained an ONJN licence, or are in the process of obtaining one, please emailPartners@betfair.com with the licence number for our records.
    • If you are happy to continue without earning commission on new Romanian customers, you do not have to do anything.
    • We will be excluding data from customers from Romania from September 1st onwards. Customers outside of Romania will be unaffected, and we will continue to pay commission on Romanian customers obtained before 1st September.

If you do not hold a licence by 31st August 2016, we will not be able to pay you revenue share or CPA on new Romanian customers.

Please note this inbox is unattended so please send any queries or licence numbers to Partners@betfair.com

    Kind regards,
    Betfair Partners

    What a joke...
The worst, stupid thing in gambling industry for years: license for affiliates.
Neither Italy would do such stupid thing...

I thinks, this is not stupid. But this is unfair. Somebody try to protect some friendly local operatos. As i read, bet365 - old and trusted brand have problem, to get license in Romania, but some unknown operators get it without any problem.

In whole world, the same: Russia, Nigeria, New-Jersey (USA).
Local players try to protect they own interests using non-markets methods.

It's unfair from the affiliates perspective indeed.. but since fighting against it it's impossible better to go with it... this is why OCR is acting to obtain the ONJN license
