Great story by Howard Stutz looking at the one-year anniversary of the U.S. Justice Department's reversal on the Wire Act, stating that the 1961 law should only be interpreted as stating that only online sports betting is against the law, and otherwise states should be able to regulate online gambling as they please.

Essentially, Stutz states that a year ago the U.S. was a heck of a lot closer to regulating online poker at the federal level than it is now. And the chances for an improvement in the situation for gaming interests are getting smaller every day.
