Tips for promoting EXCLUSIVE casino codes, poker offers, etc

We have managed to negotiate a few exclusive offers from various partner brands over the years. Most of these are poker related, such as free bankroll offers, exclusive rakeback deals for our players, freeroll tournaments, no-deposit offers, etc.

We have recently gotten a nice double-sized bonus code offer for one of our casino partners. We have the largest bonus available for this brand as far as I can tell (and I searched high and low).

For those affiliates out there who are lucky enough to get real, true, exclusive offers for your readers/customers, how do you go about marketing these offers?

I assume that some things to do might be:

1. Placing the offer(s) prominently on the homepage
2. Creating a special page for these truly exclusive offers (nothing says bullshit about an affiliate site more than claiming their codes/offers are exclusive when they aren't - it really irks me!)
3. Putting the offer(s) in a sidebar? Footer?
4. Using a sitewide popup? Targeted popup?
5. Creating a page for the exclusive offer and trying to rank that with various KW such as "site name bonus/promo codes" or "site name welcome offers" or something of that sort.
6. Getting backlinks to these exclusive offers to help rank for the KW above?

With regard to this particular offer, I have tried/currently doing ALL of the above with the exception of link acquisition for the page which hosts the exclusive offer. I suppose getting some links is the next logical step since the page we created ranks consistently in the top 5 for "site name + bonus codes".

Basically, I want to increase our performance with our exclusive offers, lest the sites decide we don't deserve them and I would like to hear suggestions from GPWA'ers who have successfully marketed their own exclusive codes/offers!

If you have a generous list of email subscribers, I would suggest pushing said offers through a newsletter campaign. Exit intent pop-ups can also be effective if you can find the right mix. Does your offer promotes a known brand? If yes, and if the keywords have a decent volume, I would suggest you to try mixing CTAs with various search queries leading towards your website when sending newsletters.

As a human being, I find unsolicited email intrusive and bothersome.

As a human being who operates an affiliate website, I have not authorized the creation of a newsletter, nor do I actively collect user emails en masse.

I do not think the email route is going to work for us.

Any other suggestions?

7.Creating a post on the site like Forbes (its just an example), etc and asking them to allow you update it with fresh content once a month at least. So basically, you have the page on your site with poker promo/codes and you have the page somewhere else constantly talking about your page. It would be challenging, but not impossible. Poker is an intelligent men game, not some sh.tty slots. People out there accept it much easier, therefore it would be also easier to negotiate for such.

Sounds interesting! We have just started, but this kind of offers are hard to get today in Sweden, because the offers are reglated. It seems that the brand like your affiliate. Keep it up!
