I was just at AGD hoping to find some answers and here's what i found posted from one of the members:

I stand to be corrected but I think it was new management that took over Maxima Casino and then became Class 1 Casino...then again, I guess any casino could say they were under new management and we would be none the wiser.
It just seems silly that Class 1 has spent a good few years cleaning up their act and getting a reasonable reputation, only to go and destroy it all within a week.
I for one can say that once they are off my sites - there will be no putting them back, because I don't think they can come up with any kind of reasonable explanation of any kind because there is no excuse for no communication regardless of whatever the problem is.

I received a note that Roger is no longer with Class1. I emailed him to see if I can get some information on the situation since there is no other communication with Class1.

I personally believe Class1 should be suspended until we get answers. I will post when I get more information.

LOL, I had to see the funny side of that, despite being so pissed off with Class 1.
I have spent the best part of today removing them and its another full day of it tomorrow.
I hate wasting time because removing stuff is so unproductive, but has to be done!

Simple! - AXE them from GPWA - everyone instead of removing the URL replace meta tags, and reviews with words like "rogue casino" "do not play"
and all kinds of words to show they are thieves.

Make your content appear in the search engines and show what thieves they are. Fight them with what we do best! SERPs!!!

They are a joke - i noticed it from the start!

We have reviewed the situation over the last couple days, and given that the reports here, we agree that it is correct to suspend their sponsorship for the present time while we work to further investigate the situation.

However, at the present time, my personal view is that management is working to resolve the currently outstanding issues. We will keep members posted as our view evolves regarding whether the current situation is a temporary one or not.

Assuming this to be true - not sure how management intends to resolve any current issues if they are closed down for good. Just an FYI anyways.

Thanks for that Steve, but its weird how none of us have received this email if it was in fact sent out to affiliates.
However surely the poster at AGD would have no reason to make it up?
Geez, who knows anymore - this industry is so full of **** - we never know what or who to believe anymore.

Yeah just thought i would throw it out there. Looks legit to me. Perhaps they had someone contact them. True though it is weird they have not emailed everyone. Non the less - they are finished! And rightly so.

What gets me is how they jumped on an affiliate months ago for a media deal and continued on and on how rotten the affiliate was even after getting a refund and now look at what they have done. They are the worst kind!

This is Gaia from Class 1 Affiliates. Below you will find the official explanation that that has just bee sent out to our affiliates.

We regret to inform you that Class 1 Casino has temporarily stopped accepting deposits and bets from all players, coming into action on October 11th, 2011.
This is a result of unilateral action of Playtech without any prior notice and at the same time grave breach of the contract from the side of Playtech. Throughout this action, Playtech has decided to shut down gaming servers and prevent all gaming activities in Class 1 Casino.
Class 1 Casino management has put a great amount of effort in resolving the matter by agreeing, but unfortunately with no success. This has taken longer than primarily expected, therefore we are informing you about this unenviable situation only now.
We are still taking legal actions in order to restore the gaming activities back to normal.
We understand your frustration on limited amount of information given throughout the past week from our side, but we wanted to make 100% sure that we have tried everything before alarming players and affiliates.
Further to the closure, we have already settled all obligations towards our affiliates for the past month and we guarantee you that all obligations for the current month will be fulfilled completely. Class 1 Casino sent out emails to affiliates - today - over 2 weeks since shutting down.
Is this acceptable? Why have they kept quiet for so long???
