How has the number of sites you operate changed over the past two years?

For this week's poll I ask how has the number of sites you operate changed over the past two years.

Perhaps you have sold or retired some sites since the beginning of calendar year 2020.

Perhaps you have developed or acquired some new sites since then.

Perhaps our have added or removed the size of a network of related sites to expand or contract the number of sites you have on different country top level domains.

In addition to voting in the poll about the net change in the number of sites you operate, please share why the changes were made and what you added to and removed from your collection of sites over the past two years.

Over time I've generally averaged adding maybe a site a year. Sometimes none, sometimes one or two. Calendar year 2021 was an exception. While we did not develop any new sites from scratch that year, there was a significant expansion in the number of domains. Historically the www.CasinoCity.com website, whose content includes a directory of over 7,000 land-based gaming properties around the world, has published content for some countries on the corresponding country top level domain (e.g., a directory of land-gaming properties in Ireland is published on www.CasinoCity.ie). In the beginning of 2021 I decided to expand the number of country level domains from perhaps 50 such domains to well over 100. In many ways this was just a much bigger step in a progression that had taken place on-and-off over the years in shoring up intellectual property rights around the brand name Casino City that has included both domain acquisitions and trademark registrations.

At first I was creating sites quite often. Now I'd rather focus on just a few quality sites.

I started creating the site three years ago.
Currently, we operate a total of 5 sites.
I have created more than 10 sites in 3 years, but I think that managing a large number of sites has become inefficient because the SEO environment has changed significantly compared to before.
We have removed sites with a small number of articles and a small amount of information, and now operate only sites with rich content and promotions.
