The new CAP is live and running!

Well it's been a long time coming but I am happy to announce the new CAP is online! There are clever new videos from your affiliate managers there to watch and plenty of other interesting new items such as articles and chat. The forums look a little different but still have the same ol' favorites posting there. Take a sec today and have a look for yourselves!

Who is Greg? What was wrong with the old CAP? Please someone fill me what is new besides the design?

What I have seen is:

1. The ability to change languages

2. Profiles - More advanced than just the typical vBulletin stuff

3. CAP Portal Certification

4. CAP Affiliate Certification

5. Portal Listing for Member Portals (searchable like here at GPWA)

6. Tools listed (webmaster stuff like keyword tools, just inserted from other websites)

7. Lists of: Conferences, Casino Softwares (limited), Gaming Jurisdictions, and more.

8. Some learning tools for affiliates

That's what I see, anyway... I'm sure there is more to it.

CAP portal certification much like the one GPWA carries. Thank goodness I am member here otherwise I would not qualify. So I assume all banned CAP members are SOL me being one of them.

as you G: I am on your side and have stated such at CAP. However I know Lou has final approval and I do appreciate that.

his site ... his to decide. I think many of us members there ..... sometimes don't understand his motivation ..... but we give way.

Now that said ..... I also think Prof (Lou) has been much wiser than myself in many issues and i give him that.

I many not always agree ..... but he seemingly respects that as I have at times given him reason to probably ban me ....... (I'm outspoken and still not afraid to be ..... as can be seen above) but seems to understand I'm not on any side but the side of us ..... that being the affs.

I find it a troublesome situation about banned members ...... because in the end ...... I feel we all need to ban together. Regardless our differences.

off-track from the beginning ..... but i had to speak on my feelings about Greek as i think he's very out-going ..... though out-spoken like myself.

The new look of CAP is great.

I very much WISH ..... Greek and Prof could put differences aside ..... as i know Greek has much to offer ... and i think is worthy another chance as I have been given here at GPWA. I DO know Greek has been afforable about CAP and the Prof since whatever caused their un-doing. That i think is worthy of something as I know there are some who are not. I recall Greek being concerned about Lou's health and I think he's sorry things worked out as they did.

I wish them both the best ...... as well as all my friends at both places.

BB I hear you but sometimes other people’s dreams cost the innocent so much. My intent is not to be offensive although it appears I am.

I will likely regret saying so but a good friend once told me “too often, good actions can mask bad intentions. That is why you need to question authority. Why build prisons when you can brainwash people into doing what you want. You must question your own assumptions.” Please understand I am not directing this at anyone!

Yes I am most certainly am worried about Lou’s health regardless of our differences, because nothing is more important than life itself.

So with out further remarks I will leave this discussion alone.

Does anyone post exactly what their thoughts and/or feelings are, or just post what you think CAP, GPWA, and other forum owners want to read ?

CAP's site was ok before, but the color scheme now is hard on the eyes.

Sorry, I personally don't like it .

I'd hope people would post what they think. I know I take feedback seriously, and we've made changes to the GPWA site based on feedback we've received.

Personally, I think the new CAP site has lots of good features. Some represent attempts to mimic some of what we have done on the GPWA site over the last year. Some are changes in areas where we have active plans and development underway. And a few are areas we have not thought about.

I believe that some of the improvements we made pushed CAP to do a better job in some areas. And I believe some of the improvements CAP has made will be food for thought for us. We all win when creativity is applied to provide better services for the online gaming affiliate and affiliate program community.

My honest opinion? No problem. As an affiliate I am at home at GPWA. I am no longer a member at CAP after I was put on "probation" (I had the striped prison outfit). I was embarrassed (I'm not joe) and immediately requested my membership be terminated. I was told that it is a priviledge, not a right, to post and be a member. But in my world, it is a priviledge to have me! lol !!

Nothing personal I hope. I feel CAP is a wonderful vehicle for affiliates and I wish nothing but the best for all. In my opinion, rock on CAP and GPWA!

Aside from me being another proud banned member from CAP, I think the new version looks great. But like saying goes never judge a book by its’ cover. If I had just two words to describe CAP it would be “Hotel California”, as in the song.

But please this is only my own opinion don’t count for much anyway. I burnt that bridge long ago.

Rather ironic considering current mindset of some CAP members towards Grand Prive. I was rather rude and perhaps my banishment was justified.

Lou himself has had many public tirades against programs on CAP. He has a legendary temper.

I'm baffled.

You were a respected member there who had given much of his time to be helpful.
