I understand AK's sense of humor. I was amused by his post. I thought it was funny; I laughed out loud. Maybe I'm a sick bastard for finding his words funny...

I would probably think twice before I ever posted something so... interesting... but if he wants to say what's on his mind, that should be his prerogative. I don't think he should be banned or censored.

I think AmCan put it well: "Lighten up!"

AK, feel free to PM me the name of the program as well. Thanks in advance.

That's funny...someone who was banned at CAP call for banning here someone who speaks his mind.

I am surprised people found this post offensive, but not the post last week about "pink or brown"...

Maybe we need a a"flame forum" to have a anything goes type mentality.

PS. Though I thought was out there, I thought was kind of funny. I get like that myself, and venting is good.

They made you upset...and supposedly this forum is about sharing experiences, vent and... getting support when one rise a business issue. Where else an affiliate should go to do that if not here...on a cooking recipe sharing forum?

Look, I'm having a hard time trying to understand exactly the sequence of events in this thread, particularly since it appears some posts may have been edited.

But I would like to clarify if anyone does not know, that it is not considered acceptable to make personal insults in the GPWA forum. And it is not acceptable to make a statement that is a personal insult using the fact that it was intended as a joke and should not be taken personally as a rationalization.

And, if there is an issue with a sponsor program, then the issue should be stated clearly as an issue with a particular program, and the program should be given the opportunity to respond directly. Otherwise I don't see what is accomplished by bringing the issue up in the first place.

    Thank you for listening.

I try to let these forums operate in a pretty open fashion with very little censoring going on. But I, for one, have no interest in letting flames run wild. In my opinion, that is just unpleasant for everyone.

I don't agree it's a good idea to bash a book in public without the staff looking at it first. Nothing worse them someone calling foul and having no merits. Obviously my situation is full of merit and Steven from CasinoCity.com is looking into it.

I would like to rectify the situation and continue to be able to work with this company. Exposing the business would do more harm then good right now. It's called venting. That's what this entire thread was about to begin with.. TO VENT.. Some people have the ability to weed out vent, agendas, etc. I understand some don't. I do have active players there, they are like a bank account to me.. They will always owe me money on the players I already have there until 1) I die or 2) they go out of business.

Now that You have gave us your thoughts about the worthless reasons a few tried to turn this thread into, Possibly You could help in the real situation at hand.

    Thanks For Reading.

To clarify, I've had an MSN chat with AK and a phone call with the affiliate program being discussed. The situation looks like it can be clearly resolved, and the affiliate program representative indicated he has several options available to make sure things move forward.

You lost all support from me the moment that you said a line pertaining to someone having sex with someones mother!

Then you made some other crude comments!

I would have finished commenting on this thread, until you now start trying to trivialise the moans and groans.

I have no problem with people moaning on here, nor the anon nature of the moan. Infact, it is none of my business, i am just a user, not management etc.

I do, however, have major problems with the crude and downright indecent nature of some of the comments that you made!

Yes we all listen to these comments down the pub, or in the street maybe but to see them on here is not nice!

When you mention sex with someones mother, did you think about the fact that some on here may have recently lost their mother maybe?

Not just on here, however, in life in general one should think before making these sort of comments!

    They can be very hurtfull!

    100% Class

usually a business turns there cheek on a situation like this because they paid X amount of dollars to advertise.

You did not, I spoke to them and they offered me options to get this resolved.

I never thought AK was really trying to offend someone. It read like there was more sense of hummor than anything else.

BUT.. this lifestyle of being an affiliate and affiliate manager means that I spend a lot of time online. My child who is not 13, sees me at the computer all day long. What if those types of threads were the norm, and my son glanced over my shoulder and started reading threads with explicit "people doing mothers".. type of things.

I would not feel good about the forum, and myself for that matter for being a member of a community where that was the standard MO. That's my reason I even posted on this thread the first place. I love a good joke, but I write posts as if my son would read them..

    Cheers!

A little bugged, issue has yet to be resolved. It appears its on the back burner.

They are unwilling to transfer player to my account so they want to have the wale create a new account at the same company or sister site and have him reup and then cash out from his previous account. But to do this they want him to use another IP address and cookie. "wow"

Obviously this could cause problems down the road with having multiple accounts not to mention a big pain for the guy having to hold off for a payment which can take up to 12 weeks. Obviously the guy does not want the run around for 12 weeks, neither do I.

Should be a simple player package transfer, maybe they should contact the other affiliate and let him know whats going on? I'm sure he would understand or would he?

Either way IMO this should be issue number 1 on there day every day until resolved... I was speaking to the affiliate manager on msn before and right after the player created his account. This should not have been an issue and should have been resolved minutes after he created the account.

I am not certain the correct path is to contact the other affiliate and hope (s)he will understand. Since the other affiliate has a legitimate tracker associated with your player's sign-up, if the other affiliate does not agree I think it could potentially be quite a messy situation. So I do think the request that your player set-up another account directly through you, and that the other account that was not set-up the way he intended be subsequently closed, is not necessarily unreasonable. If I were in your shoes I think I would focus my efforts on seeing if there is a way for the program to directly transfer the funds to the new account without delay once it is set up so that there is no substantive disruption for the player.
