    Default 365 Domain

    Hello,

Can I use 365 in domain for betting or casino? Not promote Bet365, because I know that in terms and conditions have something to do with this.

    Thanks, abets

Why not? 365 - this is only digits. I think nobody have copyright for digits.

Use '32' instead - much safer.

    Lol.

Abets - trademark law is quite complicated. Whilst bet365 don't own the digits '365' if you buy a domain that they can argue is attempting to missrepresent their trademark, you could find yourself at the end of some legal action - betting365 for example would probably get the lawyers sniffing around but knitting365 would not. As fictionnet hinted at, 32red have a habit of going after anyone who tries to use '32' in their domain - sometimes successfully, sometimes not. Biggest example is '32Vegas' which they won a case against. I'd have a look at those cases to get an idea of what you can and can't get away with.

I'd steer well clear of using '365' in your gambling domain. There's loads of great betting domain names still available so you shouldn't need to use something that may cause you a problem in the future.

Here's just a few decent domains that are available as we speak:

    justsportsbetting.com
    soccerbettingworld.com
    purefootballbetting.com
    totalcasinos.net

Yes, would definitely be a shame to go through all the hard work needed to get a gambling related affiliate site above the radar and then have to spend more than you invested in lawyers and stuff. For you it's a larger expense than it is for them.

Yes you sure can but I would stay away from direct use of the 365 like you may get in trouble if you use Bet365sports for example

    Best of luck

If not interested in Bet365 affiliate and have some personal liking to the number, then why not
