Just about six weeks ago BeckyCA started the following forum thread:

Blockchain & the future of affiliate marketing (not about the price!)

In the thread she asked for feedback on the following article:

Blockchain and the future of iGaming affiliates

Now, I don't intend for this poll question to usurp that thread for discussion of the article. Please visit the thread BeckyCA started for that.

For this week's poll I ask a more general question about whether you think it is likely that the industry will evolve to provide a publicly accessible record of any sort regarding individual gaming transactions. To get a handle on that, I ask what percent of gaming transactions worldwide you believe will have some publicly accessible records available by the end of the decade. For the purpose of the poll, I leave aside the question of what technology might be used to make that information accessible.

Besides voting in the poll, be sure to share your thoughts both about the good and bad aspects of having that sort of detailed data publicly accessible, whether you think regulators are likely to support such a requirement, whether you think operators would adopt such an approach without a regulatory requirement, and the extent to which you think blockchain technology would be used as the implementation approach for making such data accessible.

And also share your rationale for the percentage you choose in the poll. How much do you attribute to regulations in particular jurisdictions? How much to individual operators adopting publicly accessible records as a marketing and branding position? How much to something else.
