Question Did you grow your domain? Did you buy?

It's been about half a year since I started blogging about online casinos, but I still have around 30 visitors a day.

I don't think domain power is everything, but how long did it take for around 100 people to visit each day?

you need to build your link mass. Links are important to Google
Some bookmakers have new official websites:
    Switzerland - Bahigo,
    Germany - 20bet,
    Switzerland - Wettigo,
    Switzerland - 20bet Schweiz,
    United States, Canada - 22bet,
    Switzerland - Roobet,
    Official global site Roobet

    I buy used domains.
Obviously, it will rank higher in SEO.
If you have enough money, I recommend buying a used domain.

I assume you're asking because you're not sure if getting to 30 is 'standard' or not...or whether kicking it all off on an aged domain would have been better. So the question 'did you buy' means 'did you buy an older/aged/existing' domain and get 'domain power' that way.

And there is no standard answer.

Yes, buying a domain that already had (good enough) links and some inherent age may have helped you make a quicker start (+ how clean it was)...but really it's what you do with it that will have the most impact.

Starting off with a 'blank' domain does take time...but no one could give you an accurate estimate of how long because there are so many different influences on how it performs and over what timescale. Plus things are changing all the time too, something that took x months 2 or maybe even 1 year ago (or arguably even 3 months ago), may now take twice, 3 times, or 4 times as long.

You can only sensibly focus on what you have now, and where you can make that go. All effort should go into that, unless you have some good reason to think something is irreversibly wrong with the domain (which is probably not the case since you're getting some traffic).

So the important considerations right now are:

How is that traffic getting to your site now/does it have any value (and actually, is it real traffic)
What can you do to improve/increase the numbers from that source and/or turn it into valuable traffic if it's currently not valuable
What can you build/add/do to the site to get more sources of traffic

The first two take you into the areas of analysis and thought
The third takes you deeper into content creation, structure, and (off-page and on-page) SEO in general (for which there are many posts on the forum which would help)

PS Don't get me wrong, it's not an unreasonable question to ask...it's just that any answer you get along the lines of 'it took me x months' would have so many variables attached to it that it would not really be useful to you.

There is really no simple answer here - I personally bought a new domain with my main website and I do not regret doing so.
And again, taking into account the time your website exists, 30 visitors / day is not that bad. The important part is what search intent do those visitors have. If you managed to rank well for some KWs that actually bring in people who want to register and play - 30 visitors per day is ok.
If that is not the case with you - perhaps you might want to focus on trying to find new / additional KW opportunities.

A don't imagine a good gambling related domain with some history and relevant backlink can be purchased just like that - it will come with a good price.

It all depends on the effort you put into the optimization. You need to let people notice your blog, without SEO and links - the amount of visitors can remain the same.
