Default Did the Latest Updates Change Your SEO Approach (Yes/No)?

With the recent updates, has your approach to off-page SEO changed - I mean the trend in building backlinks? And have you started creating content for your websites differently? A simple Yes or No answer is fine

    No.

But 'trend' in building backlinks. That would be a long-running trend

If anything, I'd say there are better chances now we're finally heading towards a 'lessened impact of backlinks' situation. But there are so many nuances it'll nearly always be hard to tell.

The danger of materially changing you approach based on one core update in isolation is that when the next one comes around you could be back to square one, or even worse square zero.

Focusing on SEO essentials, EEAT etc and riding the updates rather then constantly chasing your tail seems a better bet.

No. I am open to making changes, but I don't rush to do them as soon as something new comes up.

No. In my experience, it’s much more effective to stick to your chosen strategy than to overreact to every update. Balance is important. I try to adapt gradually, but I do so cautiously, because Google might see it as an attempt to game the system and penalize you for it.

You should always keep your SEO on page stuff cleaned up , for instance we just went through one of our sites and a worker had copied wrong titles in many pages and keywords were same keywords used on about 50 pages. I went through the site and been fixing all these little things and another thing that we find effective is cleaning off older non performing brands less is sometimes more . People ignore on page SEO and seem to focus on link building .
