Betbull - anyone worked with them?

Hi,

I need more details regarding Betbull (UK facing affiliate programme). They approached us, offered ok deal, but their clouses are not ok for us.

5.4 In the situation that the Affiliate that is on a Revenue Share Commission (either entirely or partially in combination with another form of Commission) refers 2 or fewer First Time Bettors to the Mobile Application in any given month during the Eligibility Period, the percentage to be applied to the Net Revenue will revert to 10%, provided that the D:4470987v3

percentage applied to the Net Revenue for said Affiliate had originally been determined to be higher than 10% in the Service Proposal.

5.7 End Users who have not had any activity for more than 6 months ("Inactive End Users") will be deemed inactive and will no longer be counted towards the Affiliate's Commission.

5.9 The Principal shall pay Commission due to the Affiliate on a monthly basis; no sooner than 15 days from the last day of an active month and no later than 30 days from the same date. This may be extended (as per 5.10) should the Principal require further time to confirm the legitimacy of the traffic acquired through the Affiliate. Notwithstanding the above, where the Commission owed to the Affiliate is less than £500 (the “Minimum Payment”) the Principal may continue to roll the Commission due over to the following month until the Minimum Payment is reached.

Just stay away from them , too many retro-active clauses and at some point they will just close your account and not pay you - simple as that.

We listed them for a while but removed them, performance was very poor and as you point out there are a few unfriendly clauses. There was also massive account leakage being a mobile only brand.

One to avoid in my opinion.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I won't do any business with them. I've informed them about their predatory terms against affiliates and what I received:

I have been informed that we may be willing to negotiate terms

however this depends on the volume of traffic you can deliver us of on a monthly basis

I had quite the laugh when I read those terms.

Let me rewrite them, without the legalese.

5.4 Don't bother with us unless you are planning on sending us a lot of customers. If you are a small time affiliate you are just wasting our time. We only want to work with big time operators who will use every means at their disposal to gouge players and squeeze out every last penny of their deposits.

If you cannot send us more than two players a month, we are going to reduce your commission to 10%. That is of course unless you were dumb enough to accept a deal that was less than 10%

5.7 If a player does not deposit at least every 2 months we will remove them from your miserly commission rate. Those players will become ours from now until eternity - a truly lifetime commission free player.

5.9 Don't expect to be paid every month. Don't even think about receiving a commission within 15 days after the end of the month. If we feel like it, we will take at least 30 days to pay you, if we ever do.

If you are a small affiliate and you can't send us more than two “suckers” every month, your 10% commission will probably never reach the minimum £500 payout (because we removed those customers from your account).

If by some small chance you do accumulate the minimum payout, we will probably have to go back and question those commissions that you have been able to squeeze by our restrictive rules. We will think about it and study it until we decide what to do.

We might even charge an inactivity fee against those commissions - probably 25% a month. We never said we would do this, but hey, we make the rules. Now leave us alone!
