There was an idea to set up such an experiment: write a script or use another service for such a purpose. we take our link and simulate traffic on it. anchor clicks. the whole idea is that there are thresholds that can give the link the most weight, namely the conditional indicator of 500+ clicks on it. someone tried to do something in this direction?

So write a script to cheat and LIE to google.

Simulated traffic or FALSE traffic is not the way to trick Google into liking a website.

I think Google has been able to define them for a long time. Especially links from spams forums

Agreed, and Google can also determine fake or scripted traffic that are not real visitors.

Listen to what Rick tells you. Google can give you a penalty, and even bring down your page ranking. Not to mention that you could also lose plenty of visitors to your site, even in the space of just one day. You'll suffer the consequences. That's something you should take quite seriously before thinking about doing anything like that.

Actually I have seen some evidence that it's possible to manipulate appearance of a page in search results with clicks...but to my knowledge when that traffic died down the page dropped. The only thing that would keep it there are all the signals that indicate why it would have legitimately been there in the first place....high quality content and links (and maybe some other stuff).

But as Universal says...that click traffic would have to be 'real' and stay on page. Google will know the tricks and likely spot them a mile off (and anyone that knows how to avoid that probably wouldn't be sharing it openly).

Test it on non-main projects or satellite sites.

In some search engines manipulating "user" behavior can lead you to top 1, but it does not work for Google.

About Google.. i don't think it worth it. Penalty or ranking down and lots of your efforts, time and money are wasted.

For the test, there is no resource. I think user profiles are important and their cookie. May be
