Another affiliate manager warning... Again...

[davemerry]

Hi guys,

Just got the below email from Peter Jenkins (peter@unitedkingdomscasinos.co.uk) advertising on www.unitedkingdomcasinos.co.uk. Seems to be another one of the standard scams which have been plaguing my inbox recently...

Dear Affiliate Manager,

I run one of the larger casino/sportsbook promotional sites in the UK: http://www.unitedkingdomcasinos.co.uk/

We are ranked high in Google UK for numerous terms including "casino" and have the ability to send a good amount European players, mostly UK players.

We have been growing rapidly over the last year and are looking to add new casinos that take EU and UK players.

Please let me know if you are interested in discussing options.

Cheers,

Peter Jenkins
Marketing Director

As you can see, there is an extra S in the email address. Keep careful and don't go near these guys!

Cheers,
Dave

Cheers for the heads-up Dave...

you appear to be some sort of magnet for this kind of thing!

[Sivan]

Thanks Dave. Got this email too and thought it sounded fishy. Good catch!

If people are doing this, some companies must be biting and paying upfront.

@ GPWA management, can you send this thread and the others to all the companies you work with?

Is the problem here that this Peter Jenkins is not in charge of this site?

Is the problem here that this Peter Jenkins is not in charge of this site?

No, there has been a recent increase in people registering very similar domains to large affiliate sites and then emailing affiliate managers trying to agree a pre-paid media deal or CPA agreement.

The email came from unitedkingdomscasinos.co.uk however offered advertising on unitedkingdomcasinos.co.uk.

See what I mean?

If this was a one off I wouldn't have posted it, but it is happening every few weeks and the genuine site owners, upon being contacted, have no idea about it.

[brean78]

Wow, I didn't even notice, what a scumbag. Thanks for the heads up.

[wagerjunction]

Yeah, received the same email too today.

[Gabriel_LCP]

Nice Dave! Thanks for the heads up, I received it too!

[LiveCasinoPartners]

Yes Dave, Thanks for the heads up.
Cheers!

Cheers, received that couple of days ago too.

Got the same email. Blasted scammers!

I cannot believe this stuff happens this often

Thanks Dave... This whole thing made me LOL.

I find it funny that he says they are Page 1 for Casino etc, I had a quick look at some of their onsite optimisation and it's pretty bad so...

Assume someone has let http://www.unitedkingdomcasinos.co.uk/ know?
