Can anyone recommend a good football video player?

I was just wondering if someone can maybe recommend a high-quality video player that shows football highlights and other interesting football videos, and can be embedded on a site.

I work for a big football website and we have used Perform's ePlayer in the past, but are looking for a better solution for a new site redesign. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Well the best VHS Tape player i have been able to find is.....(oops time machine got stuck again)...

Have you looked at VLC Player?

As of a few years ago they had an installed based of over 100 million and it is a fairly common standard so I would think that it would be easy to implement or at least test...

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the quick and detailed response. But, I probably haven't been clear enough when posting the question. We need a video content provider, meaning we would like to have their football videos embedded on our website, so if you know anyone of those, it would be great.

The more I think about this, the more sense it makes to also at least study using an hmtl 5 video player.

Here are a few breakdowns of some html5 players that seem to be mentioned a lot.

Video.js, Vimeo and Flowplayer seem to be mentioned the most in early research although some may post others or may have experience setting some of them up and may have more input.
