If an affiliate programs BLOCKS access to affiliates from certain countries, this "should" be covered in their terms of service as they are effectively saying....you can't join, or of you do, we won't give you stats or a way to track referrals or allow you to get to creatives or effectively market our products.

Simply saying to "use a vpn" is not a good solution for many affiliates, and if affiliates choose to work under those conditions, it should still be covered in the terms of service.

Most of us understand the geo-targeting for the casino properties themselves, but to block countries at the affiliate programs' sites directly is not very forward think in my opinion.

    Hi,

    thanks for your message.

Unfortunately, we had to close our market in Norway a few days ago.

This means that persons with a residence in or habitual residence in Norway, may not open an account with bet-at-home.com. If no legal restrictions exist, then an affiliate may open an account in these places as long as no advertising is placed in the countries listed in the link below.

You might not have access to our bet-at-home.com website, however, you still have access to your affiliate account, just use the following link: https://affiliates.bet-at-home.com/login.asp?

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at stephan.meyer@bet-at-home.com

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,
    Steph

But, there ARE legal restrictions that exist within Norway, if I am understanding what you implied in your statement, so do you allow residents of Norway to be affiliates or not?

Your above statement can be interpreted BOTH as a yes and a no.

    Hi Rick,

please note that you can still be an Affiliate of bet-at-home.com while living in Norway. What is not possible and not allowed is to target people living in Norway with your advertising.

However you can focus on other countries and target groups.

If you have any more questions, let me know.

    Best,
    Steph

We understand this. We don't understand, why you blocked access to affiliate program. My point of view: somebody in your company don't understand the difference between players and affiliates.

    Example:

    1.) Affiliate from Norway.

2.) He want to work on non-Norwegian market.

3.) He try to sign-up on your affiliate program.

    4.) Affiliate program blocked.

5.) Affiliate go away and sign-up on another affiliate program (where people understand difference between players and affiliates).

6.) Your competitors get new players.

    7.) The End.

    Hi,

as we have already mentioned, YES we accept Affiliates from Norway. Our bet-at-home.com Affiliates program is not blocked for Norwegian Affiliates, simply our bet-at-home.com website is blocked.

Please just use this link for registration or for logging in to your affiliate account:
    https://affiliates.bet-at-home.com/login.asp

I hope everything is clear now, if not just drop a message.

    Best regards,
    Steph
