Default MB24 claiming Curacao license they don't have

Just posted a complaint against MB24 (previously MobiBet and used to be part of the ActiveWins program).

Operator non-responsive, player unpaid but the big revelation came when I contacted their regulator in Curacao only to find out that their license expired in September 2014 and the regulator could not establish any contact with them.

That still means that between September '14 and April '15 they were claiming a license they did not have.

Also, given that this player has been trying to withdraw since February their claims that 'all players' will be paid is at the least questionable. I've also just been contacted by a second player who's not received payment.

Would Income Access care to comment on this issue?

True. There's a lot of work to do. First start is some serious jurisdictions I guess. Besides operators, also affiliates do have their responsability to look if casino's are legit and not just look the commission %'s.

I'm writing an article now for one of my websites and part of it is some license research. Shocking to see how many casino's are actually writing and telling lies about their license.

And many affiliates are writing just that it's so legit because they are having such a legit license, etc...

Software suppliers are part of the problem but to my mind white label networks are the biggest offender. Anyone, regardless of how under financed can set up their own online casino these days. I regularly get WL operators bitching at me due to negative status with us due to other operators on the network shutting down without paying players. My attitude is very straight forward - if the network's trustworthy then you'll get considered. If the network's demonstrated that they don't care about players, all their operators will be viewed negatively.

I know a lot of people have a problem with EveryMatrix, and I'd be the first to point to several of their operators that are questionable in their practices, but whenever an EveryMatrix casino folds, the player accounts are transferred to Jetbull and all players are paid. That's a big plus right from the word go.

In this case what shocks me the most is that MB24 previously shared an affiliate program with Betfred. That's a hell of a large operator to be grouped with to go under in this fashion....

Software vendors should have bonds to cover all these issues from each company using the software. Playtech is the worst offender of garbage casino operators.

SkillOnNet and RTG are way worse i.m.o. But true, also PlayTech.
