Which program to choose all depends on the Market.
Something that we have focused on is to market brands with strong brand presens in our markets. We see a much higher conversion on brands doing external marketing as well as affiliation.
In general we ask for a higher CPA from unknown brands since the risk for you as an affiliate is a bit higher.
Another benefit of marketing brands with a strong market presens is that they are more likely to apply for a license down the road (if not already regulated). It can get expensive if you have a good size Revenue share in Finland and the brands decide not to apply for a license in a few years. This happened to us in Switzerland 6 months ago with a brand causing us to lose about 50k per year.

There are many aspects which include this question and cannot be answered just like that :

- if you promote Sports - there are bookies, who limit very fast winning or big value players ( they are afraid to pay them in long terms). Also there are brand , which after couple of months will stop paying what you have earned.

- casino brands to promote - always see what your competitior promote. I.e long-lasting site with good reputation in your language or country have digged out and cleared away all the "bad brands".

- never do the mistake to go and apply as bet365 affiliate on an instant, when your site is pretty new - like I have this conversation with many people , who want to try and see in they can become good affiliates.

- if you are afraid to late too much for retrieving and taking commissions - you may choose 1xbet, melbet or 22bet ( they pay weekly).

One more thing to consider is which market/geographies you're targeting. The best affiliate programs and most popular casinos/sportsbooks vary by market. This is also a good way to identify up and coming brands that only target one or two countries, typically they offer competitive rates.
