Lol @ J. Lo - stay away from my woman!

Thought about doing one of these lists for a while, good luck!

Haha nice one Rak! I am positive you can achieve them! I have a plan for your J. Lo mission, go to American Idol and soothe her with your voice, then its a done deal!

I have a specific Video Poker Bucket List. Have played the game for many years and recently was dealt a Royal on a triple play bonus poker machine for 3X the Royal payout. Still waiting for that Royal at Pickem Poker (another favorite) for 6000 coins. My strategy is not to go with too many list items--easier to meet the challenge

My only two wishes for a bucket list are travelling around the world, and going on an African safari tour lol I guess hitting number 1 in Google for something would be pretty good too

Why on earth is it called a "bucket" list? Is it things to do before you kick the bucket?

Only one of those things I've done is the trekking in Nepal. Or rather the Nepalese side of the Himalayas. Was pretty cool though, I'd do it again, although I think the wife has it on her "done" list now

We actually sat down the other day and wrote out a list places we wanted to go to - this is probably the closest I've come to writing a bucket list.

Tell me more!? Did you do it through a tour group, or did u turn up and start trekking up one of the paths.
2 friends and I have started planning, we're thinking canoing, climbing and trekking. If we don't do basecamp, we'd be even open to monasteries and such.

Macha Picu would be nice too. My wife would murder me if I took her to Nepal.. she reminded me everyday how much she disliked Morocco! I loved it though.

Yeah I get it now, thanks I see you're thinking about Machu Pichu. I was so close to getting there! We were back packing in South America and a week before we were due to cross into Peru those crazy floods happened and the whole place was closed down. Of course what we suffered was only mild inconvenience in comparison to the locals. Anyway, I hope you'll manage everything on your list

Great list. Looks like we have a few in common.
I went on archeological digs during college summer vacations 4 years in a row in Costa Rica. Not as much precolumbian cultural artificacts here as in South Amercian (or even Mexico), but it was a lot of fun. During the days I'd work on a farm and during the evenings I'd go on archeological excavations.

"Get my boat and gun license" - Got a gun last year and love it. I never thought I'd be the guy who's into guns, but I found that I love then. Still working on why. The boat on the other hand was a nightmare.

Other things on my bucket list. Visit Australia and Africa. spear fishing for marlon. Spend a winter in a remote Alaskan cabin.

We did it through these guys: http://www.gadventures.com/ I'd definitely recommend them, the guides/sherpas were all locals and were fantastic.

Let me see if I can dig up some photos!

I'd love to make a bucket list one day, but I'm scared that as soon as I make it I'll croak!

There is one thing I'd like to do before I'm 35 - that is to visit 50 countries. I think I've been to 10-15 so far so I've got to get a move on.
My problem is that I always end up going to the same place twice and usually not from choice. It's so hard when you live 9 hours to the closest country (NZ doesn't count).

Rak if you're going to be an extra on ST I want to be one too!

How did you organise it!? OR find out out about it.. do you go remote, or to towns, and during the day just travel out to the dig site?
