Same as it has been for a long time, to get links you either need to:

1. Get them naturally

2. Do outreach to get them

3. Swap with other sites (or from sites you control)

4. Buy them

Guess which one most people tend to focus on

I think, most people tend to focus on buying links coz it 's the quickest and easiest way to get links. However, it is also the least effective.

Natural links are pretty difficult to get in this space, yet not impossible, although I wouldn't be the best person to help with that.

You can do link exchanges, find someone here or reach out to other webmasters. In my experience, various odds aggregators / betting prediction portals are more than happy to do link exchanges.

Finally, buy links. Find 5-7 websites that are your competitors in the same GEO and niche. Go to Ahref's free backlink checker (if you don't have a better paid tool). Check out their backlinks and reach out to the websites where they have them. I would recommend asking for a quote to have an article published with 2-3 links to your website (different pages, same domain), in my experience that is the best ROI.

Collect quotes from all the websites that got back to you, put them into a spreadsheet and start with the ones that offer the best price/DA/DR ratio. Create content, get it published, pay.

Or hire someone to do that on your behalf.

My strategy is always if you can get them naturally, never buy them unless you are planning to spam your way to rank 1 which is really risky considering the capital required upfront and not knowing whether it will bank.

A good content that ranks top will always attract natural links, whether it be some spam sites.

In my experience, a good content with good targeted keywords always win. Moreover, the backlinks you've purchased will not increase your site's ranking within the span of weeks but good content does.

If you don't have time to do manual outreach, I would recommend a link service like Bazoom. You can plug in your competitors and then just buy all the links that they have. I like to mix this with Digital PR campaigns, as those Digital PR campaigns can get me a lot of links from seed sites, which will both raise my authority and EEAT.

I post a lot on social media which gets a lot of shares. Mainly LinkedIn and Reddit, use their high DA to your advantage. You an purchase them, it has been efficient in markets which are new. Or else link exchanges. I am not a big advocate to purchase links.

Is the question is where do you get the best links, I think the real question is how do I drive organic traffic and / or rank… the truth is you should be publishing decent content on a variety of content site like Medium, Reddit, High-DR forums etc. wherever you can and linking to your site back from them because if you are a new site, and it sounds like you might be with the question, then sites like those in the relevant domains on the relevant topics, will rank 10x faster than your site and with a few well-placed links to your own site you will be driving non-Google traffic in no time, which in turn boosts EAT
