Brilliant move!

Fed up with calls from telemarketers, Richard Herman of the U.K. issued an ultimatum: Call again and he would start charging 10 pounds (about $16) per minute for his time.

Especially now they are starting to spam text me - even once I say stop they continue. I might charge them £10 per text perhaps.

My mum tells them she will get the person they are looking for then puts the phone on the washing machine until they hang up.

I always used to call out to my brother and tell him it's one of his friends on the phone so he'd get stuck talking to them.

I've noticed we get a lot less telemarketing calls now that we put our number on the do not call list. There's still the occasional call but it's gone way down compared to how it used to be.

And they always seem to call during dinner time which is the worst part.

I understand that telemarketing salesmen are just doing their job, but they can be pretty annoying.
