Mobile Affiliates

Hi Guys

I am always reading in the various industry magazines that mobile gaming is huge and as a company NordicBet do have an amazing mobile betting platform but I do not see th emarketing opportunites for mobile as I do for online.

For example with mobile i have only met two affiliates that use mobile as a business and they have huge opt in lists so they are great to work with aside from these others just tend to deal in pure sms spam which is not what we are looking for.

If any of you are in the mobile arena and are looking for an greta betting prodcut to offer please give me a shout i would love to hear form you.

The business shows a big growth and marketeers forsee this to explode the coming years.

Hi guys, thanks for welcoming me.

I agree with GamTrack, mobile is easier. It's all more basic and simple, but there are some important things to keep in mind.

W3C has founded the Mobile Web Initiative, which gives very useful information and guidelines on building mobile websites. Visit them here and read their guidelines here.
My rule #1 is: keep info compact and pagesize low. Mobile internet is slower than online internet and long loading time is killing for business!

For the actual building i use the free online service from dotmobi. Choose from a number of templates and make as many mobile websites as you like and also containing as many pages as you need. Every site and page is checked with the W3C guidelines. Automatically publish your site as html, php or asp in optimized xhtml 1.0 mobile. With a little knowledge of css, you can finetune pages after publishing. They also have a good forum. Find them here.

If you already have a .mobi website, check it's comptability at mobiready here and get tips to improve it.

A good mobile dedicated forum is mobility.mobi, where all kinds of info on building, marketing etc. can be found.

At the moment there are quite a few good mobile ad networks. I use buzzcity.com, admob.com, zestadz.com, quattrowireless.com and inmobi.com. There are many more though, but these also accept smaller deposits and daily budgets. At the mobility forum you'll find an extensive lists of networks and experiences with them. Also CPC is much lower than on the regular internet. It's maximum profit at minimum costs!

According to many marketing researchers mobile internet is booming business in the upcoming years and some even expect mobile gambling will exceed online gambling. Juniper is a research company specialized in mobile internet and also publishes reports on mobile gambling. These are quite expensive, but they also provide free whitepapers (needs free registration). Very interesting stuff, read more here.

All the reading will keep you busy for some time i guess , but i think it's worth it. The market is still developing and not overcrowded yet, so competition is far less heavy than the regular internet. I already earned a very nice buck in a couple of months and it's still expanding!
I'm going to build some more mobile websites dedicated to mobile casinos, betting and gambling, but also other markets are highly profitable, like mobile hotel reservations, taxi services, car rentals, sending flowers and gifts etc. The sky is the limit so to speak .
