Geoff Freeman, the new CEO of the American Gaming Association, says that the current climate in Washington doesn't bode well for any online poker bills passing in Congress. But that doesn't mean he's not giving up.

The AGA has produced an ad in conjunction with the new Ben Affleck/Justin Timberlake film, Runner Runner that outlines why online poker should be regulated. And a state-by-state solution doesn't cut it for Freeman.

“The alternative to the approach AGA recommends is a state-by-state patchwork of regulations across a borderless Internet where the black market will continue to thrive in states that choose not to pass legislation,” Freeman said.
