Angry Person

Last Saturday My husband and I were sitting in our car in front of the tim hortons, when this older gentlemen was starring intently at the front window of our car. I have casinolatte across the window, Anyways he comes over to the car and knocks on the window and starts freaking out because he thought we were associated with the land base casino in thunder bay and was very angry because he lost 90,000 in the casino. Pat and I were trying very hard to be polite. Then he he started going on about some young 18 year old kid looks like he's 80 because all he does is play poker. Lol This was quite a night let me tell you this guy went on for a good 15 minutes. My husband told him I wasn't associated with the land base casino and that I was an online gaming I of course gave my husband the elbow because I didn't want him to tell this guy anything. After it was all said and done. Pat says man my car is gonna get stoned and then he laughed and said he should put a complaint box on the car. lol Well I guess you had to be there it was very entertaining to say the least!

Wow, this is funny....
Anyway, I really enjoyed the story that much more cause I live in Burlington, Ontario and know all the old people who hang out at Tim Hortons and have nothing better to do...

I was taken by surprise at first. I have had Casino Latte on the car for a couple of years and have never had this kind of attention before. Like my husband says well at least we know people are seeing the sign and it's working lolol

That's a funny story. Now you know your sign is working. You only need one good player to make it worth your while. I've thought about doing it here, but I never got around to it.

Another cool idea is placing a blue tooth advertising transmitter in your car. It sends blue tooth enabled adverts to cell phone users (permission based).

You've got your heart (and car) into it. I love it.. lol. Keep it up.

It always amazes me the people who are willing to just go apeshit at people they don't know in the street..
You never know what will happen - as an example (probably not a good one for our industry) the next person you have an interview with for a job could be that person.. and you just blew it because you are raged in the street at someone who doesn't even deserve it..

Renee so true you should never burn the bridges, you never no when you'll need to cross them. But I was able to remain polite so atleast I can be happy about that, and besides it does make a good story even friends and family thought it was humorous. Although my husband was a litttle bit worried about the car getting stoned lol, but he's over that now. lol

I hate it when people blame their troubles on others. Face it, if he lost 90k at the casino, he's **** unlucky or he doesn't know how to play or he should have stopped earlier. And that 18 year old kid who looks 80... now that very much far-fetched.

In any case, thanks for the good laugh. Glad nothing happened to your car.

LOL... how does the guy confuse "CASINOLATTE" with "OLG Casino Thunder Bay"

Something tells me that with this person's brain capacity they should never have entered a casino in the first place. I am just curious where they got the 90k from?

He just say the decal and thought I was associated with Thunder Bay Casino and as far as losing 90k in a casino is just plain crazy. I was being polite to the guy but in my head I was thinking are you kidding me If I was to lose 90k in a casino then I am one stupid a.. for doing so! and I have no one to blame but myself. I love to play online but if I lose then I lose. I won't be blaming anyone but myself! And besides like my husband said what did the guy think I was going to do if I was associated with the casino here am I going to return his 90K. When my husband tried to explain what casino latte was I was elbowing him because I didn't want this guy to go to my site then show up at my house. lolol. After the guy finally went away pat and I were laughing so hard and just had to shake our heads.

I would have converted him as a player at my website :P I try as much as possible to get into a debate about online casinos and show them its the real way to go
