Best banner plugin for WP

Hi all

I am looking for at banner plugin for my Wordpress affiliate site. The theme that I am currently using does have a banner feature in place but the functionalities are very limited. It is also optimized for Adsense so it is basically of no use.

I am looking for a plugin where I can control banners in many different places; header, mid-article, sidebars etc. And I would also like to be able to put banners in rotation, change tracking codes etc. in one central place.

I searched the forum and it seems as if AdRotate is popular. Is AdRotate what I am looking for or do you have better suggestions?

u will prolly need something with shortcodes so you can insert the zone 'triggers' in the right bits in your templates + add conditional logic.
[i guess most will use 'widgets' tho, so you can drop zones in headers,footers, sidebars easily no doubt]

I have seen adrotate used regularly also, I have only just recently starting looking at it on a site.

I also have a simple little php ad rotator (free) that I call in places manually. It is not database driven, only a few lines of code, but grabs a banner, link and even image title from a text file. For multiple sizes, or to set different zones, create multiple text files by different names.

I do recall needed to set the site up to allow php code to run in text widgets forever ago, but I do not recall that being very difficult to do.

can get these via GTM click rules, so not really a 'must' in ad plugins i think.
